Chapter 5: The Marketplace 2

When we arrived at the marketplace it is almost dark, so we picked our bags and look for a place to stay the night, when found a decent place to rest the night off.

We settled at each of our room to change our clothes and then we'll meet each other downstairs to eat, our servants is in the same room as ours because the place only have two rooms left.

When i finished changing i went downstairs and look for my companions, they were already seated on the side where there is a table for four person, Erika and i went there and then sat infront of Joseph and his male servant.

So... what are we doing tomorrow?

We are heading to patrol the city

And how does this patrol work?

Your highness, patroling mean we are going to scan across the city to see if there is a problem

And i am part of this patroling thing

The morning arrived and i was getting ready to go out, i let Erika get ready as well so she could dress herself as a common villager and does not work in the palace, and so did i, although some of the villagers have seen me, i know they won't recognise me with my outfit.

A A.... stop, they will not know i am the princess with this clothes.

I was wearing a brown top and lower skirt that are usually worn by the villagers, i did some layering with the clothes and i did not out on my corset, my hair was a little mess and are curled to look more realistic, i did not put any beauty products on my face too, so i would not look someone who can afford it.

Your majesty i am sorry to say this but you look like a beggar who is pretending to be a pirate

My face lost its bright smile when i heard her but i did not get angry.

Erika just shook her head and walked towards the door, when she opened the door joseph was already at the door with his own servant s***h bodyguard, i saw Erika look at Joseph's servant and blushed.

I whispered to her and her ears became more red than it is, i smiled at her and she bumped her shoulder to mine, i pointed my finger at her, moving it up and down, then i look at joseph.

Why are you wearing that your majesty?

he asked with a frustrated voice then sighed.

Why wouldn't i? ..... this is my disguise

No one patrols in the city that is wearing that, you look like a beggar trying to be a pirate.

At the Marketplace i saw different things, hairpins, hairbrush, even silks, also vegetables, there are also buildings for jewelries and clothes that are already made. My face was as bright as the sun while i wonder around the market, until i saw the kid again, he looks like, he's hiding from someone in the corner of the bulding nearby.

Heyy joseph... do you know that kid?

ohh him... he's not a kid, he's older than you

Wha- how in the hell is that babyfaced guy older than me?

He's around 20 , and from what i know he doesn't like the royal family, so be careful around him.

While we patrol at the market, i noticed him following us, well i was not scared because the real reason i want to go here is him. A minute later someone was fighting in the middle of two stalls, they were tall and bulky man, joseph rushed towards the two man fighting while me and Erika looked at him run, Erika grabed me by my hand and started running in the corner to lead me away from the fight.

When Erika let go of my hand, someone immediately grabbed

me again and pull me to run, when i look at the person who grabbed me, i was shocked because it was the boy, that freaking babyfaced guy who is older than me. my mind went blank because of how cold his hands is and how hard he was gripping on my wrist, while we were running, all i was hearing is Erika shouting my name, then it went quite.

We are in a pathway leading to a forest, and i was silent and not knowing what to do, we are now in the middle of the forest, then suddenly it went bright, it is like i saw a different world, this is the village and i just know it, Lilia always described the village to me, the real village.

I saw farm lands and other plants, there are cottage houses and it is full of people who wears brown like how i did my disguise before, but one thing i noticed is, the hell they were all baby faced, how did they do that anyway?

Someone shouted at the back, i turned towards the person calling, and i felt the boy let go of my hand.

i was shocked when he said i was his wife and i looked at him in a confused face but also shocked. He was looking straight to his mother who is now looking at me with those eyes so warm as the sun.

I was hesitating to answer because, what the hell! i am only 16 and now i am suddenly a wife to a man i did not even know the name. Then i looked at him, he was looking at my face so i just sighed then looked at his mother.

She shouted at everyone, they then looked at the guy and me looking like they have gained pride, i heard some saying she's pretty and some saying that i am not qualified to be the wife of the chiefs son. THE CHIEFS SON!.

I stopped walking when i heard those words, my face turned red so i looked down, he also stopped walking when he realised i was not following him, he looked back and saw me standing still and looking down, he walked close to me and lifted my face.

I can make your life comfortable here, you will not work and have duties like those shitty family of yours

I shoved his hands away and looked at him with an angry face.

He did not say anything but he pulled me and walked towards their house, the house was a little big than those what i see in the front, he pulled me in the corner then locked me in his arms.
