CHAPTER-8 Truth Is Out

 Fiona’s POV:

‘I hear the locks of the door open, hmm maybe Tessa is back home. But whoever rang the bell previously I didn’t want to open the door simply for the fact that I knew it must be Henry trying to create sympathetic stories. My life has not been easy from the time he took advantage of my weakness. You have made me hate you more Henry..’ I thought.

*Flashback*

“Fio what is wrong with you? Why do you look so devastated? You look terrible. Is everything alright? I’ve been calling you for 2 days now and you did not pick up. I was worried Fio. Please tell me what happened?” Sam questioned me with a worried look.

“Sam I’m sorry. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I wanted to be alone. Sam…” I cried letting him know that we need to talk separately.

“Fio come with me please we will go to the park to talk. Don’t cry. I will be there to support you always.” Sam told me holding my hand.

“Now since we are already alone and no one is around in the park please let me know what happened. Is it about Watson again Fio?” Sam questioned.

“No Sam. I need to tell you something but please don’t hate me for it please Sam. I have no one apart from you please don’t hate me. I couldn’t tell my parents or Tessa too. I feel ashamed of myself Sam.” I cried to Sam who was listening to me carefully to know what had happened.

“Please tell me Fio. I wouldn’t leave you suffer alone. And I would not hate you whatever it is, I will help you. You’re a sister for me. Please trust me and tell me what it is Fio.” Sam pleaded me.

“Sam… I was raped.” I sobbed leaning on his shoulder.

Sam’s POV:

“Sam… I was raped.” Fio sobbed leaning on my shoulder.

‘Shocked cannot be the word to describe my feeling when she said that. I was equally devastated to hear it. Whoever did that to her will never be in peace. Bloody son of a bitch.’ I gritted my teeth patting her shoulder asking her to continue. But she stayed still. I understand how shocked she also is but she needs to be strong through this because I’m not letting her alone in this.

“Please tell me Fio. Who did this? Whoever did this will never be in peace. How dare he touched my friend who is also means a sister to me. Bloody hell.” I gritted my teeth.

“Sam, It was Henry. He tied my hands to the bed post and he….” She cried not being able to share her pain through words.

‘That bloody scoundrel. How dare. Tessa you are also a part of this mess. I would never leave you.’ I thought.’

“How the hell and where did he do this to you Fio?” I asked her controlling my anger.

“He came home Sam when Tessa was not there. I didn’t know why he came that early but I thought it was Tessa before I opened the door. He stood there with a bouquet. I thought he wanted to talk to me but later did I realize when he slapped me that his intentions were different. He slapped me Sam when I said I couldn’t love him. I told him I can’t force love but he made sure to hurt me so that I think of him and he r***d me Sam.” She cried.  

“I will never leave that guy now. He will be doomed forever Fio. Don’t cry Fio. You have to be strong in this. You were the victim. Please don’t cry my sister.” I consoled her but I knew I was trying to not show my anger outside. However Fio knew about it.

“Sam, Don’t do anything to Henry and Tessa please. Tessa I don’t think she knows what he did to me. Even Henry apologized for what he did and I didn’t answer him properly but I can’t lose you Sam. I don’t want anything to happen to you. Please leave them Sam.” She told me holding my hand.

‘How can a girl of 15 years think about others even when she was r***d? My Fio you are god’s gift but Tessa hurt you wanting to get into a relationship with that r****t. Henry you will soon get the punishment you deserve.’ I thought letting Fio know I wouldn’t harm them or ask them.

We sat there in the park for 2 hours and then dropped her home. But somehow I didn’t get a good feeling when I left her home alone. I thought it was my imagination but never did I realize my instinct would become true.   

*Flashback end*

Tessa’s POV:

‘I didn’t know why Henry was panicking all the while I opened my house door. He went straight into the Fio’s room to open the door but as usual it was locked. He made sure she didn’t find out he was there outside her room door. So I knocked the door and called out her name but there was no response. We waited for a few minutes but no reply. It was something she never did and the thought of thus made me panic.’

I pulled out a key to open the door and the sight inside was shocking. I never knew I would see my sister in that shape.

“Fio are you okay? What have you done? Why are you bleeding so much? Fio talk to me. We are going to the hospital please stay awake Fio please.”  I cried not knowing what to do.

I called out to Henry who came rushing inside the room and asked him to leave immediately as I did not want Fio to get tensed. I drove her down to the hospital and made sure that to tell the doctor that she cut her hand when she was cutting the trees in our house for her project. However he did not trust the story I made up.

I brought her back home after 4 hours of staying the hospital. I made sure that her wounds are well bandaged by the doctor and called Sam so that he will take care of her in my absence when I go to meet Henry to know what happened. I had informed my parents that she was staying in Sam’s house due to the project which was to be submitted in 2 days which they accepted.

After reaching Sam’s house I told him to take care of Fio and went to meet Henry.

“Henry I am on my way to meet you. Where are you now?” I asked trying to be cool but I knew for a fact that he was a reason why she attempted her suicide.

“Tessa is Fio okay? Why did you send me back home? What happened to her?” He asked me not knowing what Fio did to herself because I did not allow him to see Fio in that condition neither did I tell him.

“I asked where you were Henry.” I yelled at him losing my cool.

“I’m in the park Tessa. Please let me know what happened to her.” He panicked.

“I will be there in a few minutes. Stay put Henry.” I told him before disconnecting the call.

After few minutes …

“Henry what on earth have you done to her?” I gritted my teeth to only find out the truth which Fio has been hiding from me from the time she was conscious. I purposely acted to Henry so that he would tell me the truth.

“Tessa please tell me how she is first. I love her please tell me.” He panicked.

“Not until you accept your fault Henry. I wouldn’t tell you anything about her. You better tell me what you did.” I gritted my teeth.

“I forced her and had s*x with her.” He replied shocking me.

“Bloody hell Henry she was a Virgin man. How can you force her into s*x? It is called r**e s**t! You r***d my sister?” I cried not able to control my anger.

“Didn’t Fio tell you about this Tessa?” He asked me dumbfounded.

“She didn’t open her mouth Henry. All she could do was cut her hand to leave all of us.” I yelled at him.
