“What? You already found a place?”
Bethany gasped, staring at Jackson in disbelief. She hadn’t expected their captain to find a perfect shelter after being gone for just one afternoon.
“Yeah,” Jackson nodded calmly. “Looks like someone used to live there. The place is already built—we just need to tidy up a bit, and it’ll be good to move in.”
He quickly described the rough layout of the site.
“Wow, Captain, you’re amazing! You actually found a spot like that? I can’t wait to see it!”
Bethany’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Jackson with excitement.
Lisa, too, was surprised. She hadn’t thought Jackson would act this fast.
Still, the news was a huge relief for all of them.
