Chapter 42: Laying the Trap

1299 Words

Having set up the trap, Jackson picked up the snake skin, hesitated for a moment, and turned to look at the three beauties. "This snake skin, I can lay it where you sleep to keep out the damp, but it won't last more than a few days." Jackson juggled the snake skin in his hand; it was still somewhat flexible, probably only good for a day or two. Upon hearing Jackson's words, the three girls immediately got goosebumps. Making these delicate young girls sleep on a python skin was a ridiculous idea. "No, I hate that smell, Captain." Bethany was the first to speak, looking at Jackson with a look of complete disgust. "That's right, we don't need it either, please take it away." Lisa and Lily chimed in, their six eyes fixed on the snake skin in Jackson's hand as if he were holding a bomb.
