Earlier, Martin had been chasing the tiger for at least half an hour, crossing countless hills. It took him over two hours to make his way back, relying on sheer luck, but he hadn't expected the tiger to follow him back. "Whoosh!" A black arrow whizzed through the air towards the tiger. To Martin and Aimee's surprise, as soon as the tiger saw Martin release the arrow, it let out a roar and turned tail, retreating immediately. The forest returned to its tranquil state. Martin sprinted to where the tiger had been, retrieved the black arrow, and scanned the surroundings. The tiger was nowhere to be seen. "It's run off again!" Martin said with a wry smile to Aimee as he returned to the tree hollow. "It seems we've become a target of this creature's grudge." Aimee's expression tightened.
