"Alright, let's move out!" Martin said to Aimee after a moment, his expression calming down.
Aimee nodded and fell in step behind Martin.
They set off in search of a new place to settle, moving purposefully in one direction.
Due to the pressing need for water, Martin opted for the riverbed. Although this location was more dangerous—since water often attracts wild beasts—Martin and Aimee had no choice. Other directions had scarce water sources, and without water, survival was impossible. Even if they found a new place to settle, it had to have water.
Their figures gradually disappeared into the distance, but before leaving, they cast a wistful glance back at the tree hollow where they had stayed.
