After a few seconds, Martin quickly sprang into action, holding Fiona as he maneuvered around the edge of the swamp, then standing at the edge and putting her down, watching the wild oxen charging towards them. "Have you lost your mind? Why aren't you running away? Do you want to be trampled into a pile of mush by these oxen?" Fiona had no idea what Martin was thinking as she watched the oxen getting closer and closer, panic-stricken. "Don't move!" Martin stopped Fiona from moving. Martin didn't have time to explain, but he was full of confidence inside. "If you want to die, I'm not going with you!" Fiona stomped her foot anxiously, but Martin interlocked his fingers tightly with hers. Seeing the oxen almost upon them, only seconds away, Fiona's face changed, thinking it was all over.
