In a few minutes, Louise and her family were the least of my worries. News came from an unknown source that Malcolm was close to completing his proposal for Miss Patterson.
All hands were suddenly on deck as everyone had to race against time and it dragged on for some couple of days thanks to my special uncle trying to make my life a living hell.
His team and my team were under so much pressure for the project and he never hesitated to spite my work. He found fault everywhere and would throw it in my face so I ended up doing the same.
