BeTRAYED BY BLOOD, FORGED IN VENGEANCE

Damia was born to lead the Black Scar Pack—until her sister Kira rigged the sacred bike race and stole everything: her title, her destiny, and her husband.

Shattered by betrayal, Damia flees into the wilderness and becomes rogue. There she meets a mysterious shadow—a cursed omega using her for his own dark purpose. But as he trains her to become unstoppable, an unexpected bond forms between them.

Five years later, Damia returns. Stronger. Fiercer. Ready to reclaim her throne.

But revenge comes with a price. Can she destroy those who destroyed her without losing herself? And when she discovers the shadow's deception, will she choose the husband who betrayed her, or the enemy who might be her true mate?

Chapter1
Chapter one-The finish line Damia’s POV “Today is the day you become Alpha.” My alarm buzzed and I immediately woke up. Today was going to be the best day of my life and I could not wait for the crown to be bestowed on my head and for the whole Blackscar Pack to welcome me in as their new Alpha. I jumped out of the bed, my wolf landing on all fours and headed to my closet. My lucky outfit hung from the pinned hanger, the leather jacket sparkling like an armour. This jacket was specially curated for me, by my mother to boost my self esteem. I did not see it as an outfit to protect my body while I was speeding on the road, I saw it as a lucky charm that would help me win. “Are you ready for your big day?” I heard my mom call out from the door and I could already smell her herbal perfume from where I was in the closet. She walked in and on my bed, her gown flaying over my bed. Another special thing about Alpha females are the type of gowns they wear. It was so exquisite and beautifully sewn. Might not be my style but I know that I would look very beautiful in them. “Are you anxious?” I was not ready for this conversation because even though I could barely do the obstacle tire flip or the stand up one hand on steering, I knew I had a good shot at winning. “It is still overwhelming that I am now the one competing, I grew up watching other wolves racing. My feelings are all over the place. Were you anxious during your own bike race?” She cleared her throat and breathed out. “During my time, the race was between my brother and I. My brother was not really available when it came to the affairs of the pack. He hated being a werewolf too.” “Oh…is that why you never talk about him?” I came out of the closet, my jacket and trouser in my hands and started pulling off my clothes to get into my bathing suit. “There is nothing much to say about him. He was always on his own, trying to figure out ways to make his wolf leave him.” “Hmm, is that even possible? I thought our wolves were part of us?” “Your wolf is who you are, darling. He was just being very crazy. He ran away from the pack even before he got a chance to race with me so I was automatically declared Alpha Female.” “Wow, you got it easy.” “I guess so. Your fur is erect, are you sure you are not anxious.” I placed my hand on my body, the cold feeling melting in my palms, sending shivers down my spine. I wanted to talk but my voice was breaking in bits. “To be honest, I am anxious. Competing with my own younger sister is not something that any big sister would want to do and I am pretty sure Kira wants this as much as I do.” My mum looked at me in pity, her wolf snarling lowly at me. “You are not wrong. Kira wants to be Alpha female as much as you do.” “And she has more skills in bike racing than I do too.” “I am not too sure about that. You have a few tricks up your sleeves.” I put on my bathing suit and covered my long hair, heading for the bathroom. “I would leave you now to take a shower and goodluck in the race today.” She stood up, arranged her family gown and started walking out. My mind jumped at something to address her and I called out. “Who do you think deserves to win, mom?” My voice came out warmer than I expected. I sounded like I was at her mercy. Her opinion mattered to me, a lot. “You.” There was something uncertain in her reply, the tone sounded like it was a lie, but I just shrugged it off…I was probably being paranoid. The heavy stench of tyres screeching on the ground and the crusty smell of exhaust pipes from bikes mixed with sweats from a heavily congested stadium filled the air. Today, Hound Arena was open and thousands of wolves from across plus all the wolves from the Blackscar Pack were gathered and ready to witness the event of a lifetime. The alpha female crowning. The winner takes home the title and responsibility of the Alpha female while the loser goes home crying. I parked my bike in front of the long red line that indicated the beginning of the race, saying internal prayers and calming my nerves. My sister, Lira was by my side, her hands gripping firmly on her bike and the revving sounds of her bike igniting my ear drum. I could not see her face because it was covered with a helmet but from her body composure, she looked too confident. Maybe over confident because she was smiling at the crowd who was cheering us on. It was like she already knew that she had won. “Start your engines. Ready, set, go!” In dashing speed and with my teeth tightly closed, I started moving, my bike breathing large smokes. I sighted my sister from my rear view mirror, she was behind but these games were not predictable. We raced for about ten minutes and got closer to the part I feared the most. The obstacle maneuver. There were twirls and spins that I had to overcome to reach the finish line. I was skeptical because I always failed this part during training but this was not the time to think about failure. I held my gear with neutral force, pressed down on the accelerator and moved. I was certain that I was going to overcome this. I got past the first and second one, and on the third one, I was stuck. It felt like something was holding onto my bike. I attempted pulling out but to no avail, I was doing the best I could but it only made matters worse. I screamed in frustration and just like that, I saw Kira drive up to me and drove past me. I watched her cross the finish line and the crowd let out a huge cheer for her. I watched as my younger sister was given the title and responsibility of the Alpha Female of Blackscar Pack. I watched my sister live my dreams.
