J POV
“The Black Hills are outside of our reach, but this does allow more room for you to execute your plan.” I tell the witch who has teleported to my office within the underground.
“Well yes, but I’m quite sure the Phoenix and her mutt sister will return once I’m mated to the Alpha, and we can set up our trap then.” She replies.
“Very true, I doubt the Phoenix will give up her mate without a fight.” I warn her.
“She cannot harm me, I’ll be carrying the Alpha’s heir afterall.” The witch grins.
“As far as they’re concerned.” I reply. “You better make your move quickly.”
“Oh, yes, tonight.” The witch says, “I’ll report to you in the morning, I have an Alpha to seduce.” She says before disappearing into thin air.
Now I just have to try to remain patient until the Phoenix returns.
