So... Shopping?

Eva POV

We spent the day with the men, lounging beside the pool. As 4pm drew near, Austin exclaimed he was famished and asked us girls to accompany them to dinner. I reminded him that we still had two hours left  left of our shift, to which Tyler said he would take care of before he stood and momentarily disappeared. Once he returned, he informed us that Madam Rosita gave us the rest of the week off from work and that an anonymous tipper left us such a large payout that we wouldn’t be out of income. 

“That all sounds very convenient.” I say frowning at Tyler. 

He shrugs before saying, “Hey, I guess it’s just fate that you girls spend the week with us.” Tyler grins.

I roll my eyes before standing from the sofa, “Ok, we’ll play it your way for now. Come on girls, let’s get dressed.” Lily and Ivy untangle themselves from their mates and link arms with me as we head back in the resort. 

“Ooh girls, Derik is so delicious, I almost couldn’t pull myself away!” Ivy whispers as Lily giggles 

“Well I’m glad you came to your senses.” I reply.

“Girl why are you so tense? That Tyler is one of the sexiest men I’ve ever seen, just behind Derik which is highly influenced by the mate bond.” Ivy continues. 

“Yeah, he’s definitely that.” I mutter as we reach the dressing room, grabbing our bags and phones from our lockers. Ivy lives in the same apartment complex as us, which is partly how we’ve become so close, we even each have a key to one-another’s apartments in case of emergencies. We meet the men in the lobby downstairs as they insisted on driving us home.

Once the valet pulls up with Tyler’s truck, he guides me to the front passenger seat before walking swiftly around to hop into the driver’s seat. Austin help’s Lily into the back, then climbs in behind me, while Derik swoops Ivy up into his arms, and settles in behind Tyler, cradling Ivy on his lap. I input the address to our apartment in Tyler’s GPS, before he pulls out from the resort. 

“Where would you ladies like to eat tonight?” Tyler asks the three of us. 

“I’m not really picky.” I say. 

Lily speaks up, “I’ve always wanted to eat at Prime inside of the Bellagio.” 

“Lilian,” I turn to face her and scold, “That’s a ridiculously expensive place.”

“Uhuh, and I’m pretty sure our mates are loaded.” Lily grins at me 

Austin chuckles as he hugs Lily to him and presses his lips to the top of her head. “Yeah, we are, and I will gladly take you to Prime.” 

“Ok, but we don’t have anything to wear.” I stand firm in my decline of this outlandish idea.

“So we can take you shopping.” Tyler suggests, “Your tips today more than allow for it.” 

“Well, I’m pretty sure I forgot to go see Rosita to get those, so...” I begin before Ivy interjects.

“Oh I got them! Rosita gave me our tips before I left the changing room.” Ivy quickly digs out three prepaid cards, handing one to Lily, then I. 

I pick up my cellphone and call the number on the back of the card, which makes me set a pin before it announces on speaker phone, “Your current balance is one-hundred-fifty thousand dollars.” 

My jaw drops as Ivy and Lily squeal in excitement in the back seat. “Tyler, this is too much.” I say firmly trying to hand the card to him. 

“Nonsense. My beautiful and talented server turned out to be my mate, you are worth that and more.” He says grinning at me.

“But $150,000, each?” I look at him exasperated.

“No, I paid for you, only. Austin and Derik tipped their own mates.” He chuckles before taking my hand in his and bringing my knuckles to his lips to kiss.

“So can we go shopping now?” Lily asks excitedly.

“How will we ever secure reservations at the last moment?” I ask pointedly.

Tyler pulls out his cellphone and calls Prime. “Hello, this is Tyler Cross, I need to make reservations for tonight for 6. Of course Gloria, thank you. 8pm? Let me check.” He turns to me, “Will 8 give you enough time to get ready? We can push it back if needed.” 

My jaw drops open in shock once more, while Ivy says “8 is perfect!” 

“Did you hear that Gloria, 8 works for us. Thank you.” Tyler ends the call.

“So... shopping?” Lily asks again.

“Fine. You win.” I give in while the girls cheer in victory. 

Tyler re-routes the GPS to the mall.

Tyler POV

Eva is exquisite, I could never imagine a more beautiful or perfect mate. From her long red hair, which falls in graceful curls down her back, to her brilliant green eyes, perfect pale complexion, and her long, lean frame, she is a goddess. Austin, Derik and I are seated outside the fitting room while the girls try on several designer gowns.  I suddenly notice Austin waving his hand in front of my face before I lock eyes on him.

“Dude, where’d you go? I’ve been talking to you for a hot minute.” Austin asks looking at me incredulously.

“Sorry, man. I was thinking about Eva.” I apologize and admit.

“How lucky are we? We come to Vegas hoping to run across our mates, and on our 2nd day, there they are working at our own resort.” Austin exclaims.

“I doubt luck plays any part when it comes to the Moon Goddess.” Derik responds.

The girls finally step out of the dressing room one-by-one to reveal their chosen attire for the night. First comes Lily in a deep navy blue, full-length, form fitting, sleeveless, satin gown. Austin leaps to his feet and wraps her up in his arms kissing her passionately. 

Lily laughs and steps out of his embrace, while playfully scolding him, “Don’t you dare wrinkle this dress.” 

Next comes Ivy, in a burgundy, thigh-length, halter top, skin tight dress, also made of satin. She steps over to Derik who snatches her hand and yanks her into his lap, before he plants a kiss on her lips. Ivy squeals out a protest, concerned for the well-being of her gown as well.

Last, steps out Evalynn, in a striking green, off-the-shoulder dress which perfectly matches her eyes, the silver sequined bust sparkles in the light,  the full-length which slits up to her mid-thigh hugs her body perfectly while revealing her long, porcelain leg. I sit and stare at this beautiful creature before me. 

Eva’s voice brings me back to earth as she sweetly asks, “Do you like it?” 

“You are stunning.” I admit, smiling at her. Eva blushes but returns my smile.

Moon Goddess... I will never stop thanking you for the gift you’ve given me and my friends, I vow silently.
