Luke hesitates, weighing his words before letting out a breath.
"I found out what happened with her; why she was at the park getting hammered..." Silence falls over us.
I can't process my thoughts. They're spinning at a million miles an hour. I don't know whether to be angry or relieved.
He looks away from me, contemplating. "Soooo... it was the guy she was seeing..." His voice is calm though I hear a rumble in it. His anger is palpable.
"Colin..."
I growl, I friggin growl. "Colin," I repeat, venom dripping from my voice.
He looks back at me, irritation clear on his face. He lowers his voice.
"Abby told me... she caught him cheating on Lola and she gave her the info. She told me she couldn't bear the thought of lying to Lola about it."
