"then shut up." dominic commanded, "you always make things difficult."
"i?" sofia pointed at herself full of emotion. who did all these crazy things first? he just responds like a normal person, shielding himself, "i know you are not stupid. i know you understand what you are doing is wrong."
"there's no right or wrong here. it just depends on perspective," dominic voiced, "how many times do we have to talk about this? i'm tired of responding to your childish remarks, sofia." he continued, "since we're close, i'll tell you everything."
sofia just stares. finally their conversation has progressed too, all their arguments would not have happened if dominic had been honest from the start. there was mixed enthusiasm waiting for what his mother said.
his eyes locked on dominic's natural pink lips which opened slowly to him.
"your mother asked for our marriage to take place now."
with that, everything that was on his mind dispersed and was crushing down.

arsenio took the car far enough so that mia didn't realize she was being followed. his whole body was focused, and his lips were tightly shut until he reached the entrance of las vegas, everything just fell apart.
there are no other words other than the marriage between sofia and dominic in his mind right now.
he knows dominic's plan, but must it be in las vegas?
does dominic intend to ridicule him by holding a wedding in las vegas?
arsenio doesn't know.
'focus on driving, arsenio.'
this is not the time to relive his memories with sofia right now.
arsenio regained his focus by pinching his own thigh, unfortunately only temporarily, his mind drifted again to realize the path he was walking was very familiar now. when he stopped at a red light, he took the time to check his surroundings for street names.
it didn't take long, he found it.
his heart drop drastically.
this street is the same as the location of the building he rented when he married sofia.
there's no way dominic chose the same building too...?
"what is he thinking!?"
"what's the matter, arsenal?" faye asked anxiously hearing her son's screams.
"no ... is just ..." arsenio struggled to get the words out due to being too shocked. he clear his throat, "i have speculation that they intended to get married in the same building when i married sofia."
"could they be getting married now?" faye guessed that thinking about her conversation with mia might trigger her best friend's anger. he was not surprised if all this because of, "i'm really sorry, arsenio."
"mama. you're not wrong," arsenio said hastily, guiltily making the look of sadness appear on his mother's face again, "this is all my and dominic's problem. don't start associating it with yours and mia, ok?"
faye knows it's just a fake word, she knows arsenio is trying to protect her from pain, and sometimes she doesn't like that because he's avoiding her with bitter facts, for example now. he didn't respond, his black irises blankly forward.
all will be revealed once they meet mia again.
arsenio saw all his mother's movements, he knew very well her mother's habits, and chose to be silent too, not to prolong the problem, he did not want to add more pressure.
"focus on capturing dominic, and ending the trouble between us."
before that happens, arsenio must restrain himself, fully aware that this one problem is dragging the people he cares about, and he is hurting their hearts.
'this is the reason why i prefer to hide my problems alone as long as i can solve it myself.'

"could you not grab my wrist violently!?"
sofia stomped her hand hard to make the grip of her hand released from her grip. he caressed the now reddened spot on his white skin, "i'm not going anywhere. stop torturing me."
it's a ridiculous and unbelievable word for dominic, "your wedding dress is ready in the next room. i won't let you make another false report to anyone else, sofia."
sofia wouldn't have done any of that if she hadn't acted like a bad person, isolating her from the outside world.
dominic grabbed her hand again, took her to the room where she said, "change your clothes. my messenger will come to polish your whole body so you're beautiful."
sofia looked around the room, nothing caught her eye except a knee-length wedding dress hanging by the window, although the design was simple, the sunlight made the white dress sparkle. he stepped closer, realizing she was following him, "why are you still here?" he is sure he must get ready too.
"i'll stay here until everything you need is done." dominic replied simply, "i told you, i won't be gentle with you."
"this is so unfair!" sofia protested in frustration, "you think all this will make me love you again!? you're wrong!"
"i'll decide that," dominic responded casually, "for now you better do what i want or you'll regret it." he took something out of his coat pocket.
sofia looked at him in horror knowing what he had let out.
a gun.
dominic didn't point the muzzle of the gun at sofia, but his sharp gaze straight into his irises meant that he wasn't kidding.
sofia knows she has a gun license, but this is the first time she's seen the type of gun she has because it's never shown, there's no reason to show it either.
"i really hope it doesn't end like that, sofia..." dominic said quietly and calmly as if he was doing the usual "you know how much i love you."
"love?" sofia wanted to laugh with her confession on that one. he did nothing but traumatize her!
"just do as i say, sofia. i'll be going to call the people for you." dominic is sick of being ridiculed by him. after they got married, he made sure he wouldn't dare to treat her like he is now.
sofia didn't move, her eyes were as sharp as hers—a glint of hatred so deep that as soon as she disappeared from behind the door, her body slumped limply on the floor.
'what should i do?'
if sofia keeps trying to free herself, she will be killed...? but if he persists, he must live in an endless hell.
