Chapter 5: Troublesome Miss (2)

Although Adrian was a five year old kid, his IQ far surpassed that of a normal kid at the same age, his level of shrewdness was something no one of his age or those two or three years older than him could rival. After his first dealing with Diana, he knew clearly that he had to run away immediately after she turned inquisitive again, though it was the most simplest method and may seem rude,but it has proved to be the most effective so far, maybe until he derives new means of dealing with her or until she quits.

Standing outside the massive school building which was only meant for freshers of his age, he couldn't help but admire its beauty and majesty, the surrounding was extremely spacious and huge and the distance from the building to the school gate was approximately a kilometer and more…, the plants and trees within the academy's premises made the area look like a paradise.

Benches made from different beautiful gems and precious stones could be seen under the shade of the trees in the area. The further one went into the school compound the more buildings one will find. Four Skies academy had a total of three regions, the foremost one which was for the freshmen and also Adrian's class area, was known as the outer academy located at the outer regions of the school, the second one which was much bigger than the outer academy and was also further inside was known as the middle school, the last one which was 1 kilometer from the middle school was known as the inner school or the Heart of Four Skies academy.

Still standing In Front of the school building as the freshmen came out, a slender hand suddenly shot out from behind him and tightly grasped his wrist, before he could react he was already forced to run as as the figure of a girl dragged him along and ran so fast that her speed almost beat a motorcycle on high speed.

“TINA—--!!!!” Adrian's voice was soon drowned by the wind, as dust flew into his mouth and his well kept long hair fluttered in the wind.

“Tina…. please....stop.” Adrian managed to mumble in a low voice, but it seemed like the tormentor had no intentions of doing such. The girl kept giggling happily as she increased her speed, shutting Adrian up once more. As for Adrian, he could only endure it until the demonic little princess decided to stop, he couldn't do anything to her as she was an existence at the second rank of the Body Refinement realm and he himself hasn't even stepped into the initial rank.

Fifteen minutes later the girl stopped under a tree at the roadside, she finally let go of Adrian's wrist and turned to face him. A face capable of melting one’s heart appeared before his view, red cherry-like lips, crescent shaped brows,jet-black hair reaching her waist,a gorgeous face and beautiful gem-like eyes. Though only six years old, one can tell that the little girl would be a world-shaking beauty when she grows up.

Despite the beauty before his eyes, Adrian had no liberty to enjoy nor appreciate it as he was panting heavily and spitting out remnants of dust, withered leaves and sand that were in his mouth. Tina stood there giggling lovely as Adrian struggled to get rid of the things in his mouth, it seemed as if she was taking joy in his misery.

“Why do you always do that?” Having gotten rid of the things in his mouth and dressing his messy hair up, Adrian asked the girl before him with a dark face, but the girl only giggled more as she saw his expression.He was close to having a heart attack when this young lady almost crashed in a motorcycle but successful dodged it,subsequent situations arose as they ran giving his heart a roller coaster ride

“It's just funny seeing you like this and I love it.” The girl's reply made Adrian's face twitch for some time. 'So she likes seeing me look flustered and disheveled, there must be something wrong with her head, but I don't remember offending her early this week.’ Adrian thought silently in his mind as he stared at Tina.He only suffers this degree of punishment when he doesn’t play with her or accompany her as agreed.

“Well I don't like it, so can you please stop dragging me along while you run.” Adrian pleaded with Tina but her response came quickly.

“No, if you don't play with me, who will? Well let's forget that for now, what's up with you and Diana again?” Tina asked curiously as she took a step forward standing four steps away from Adrian.

“Don't give me that, you clearly know the reason for that.” Adrian retorted with a calm expression. Since she wasn’t intent on discussing the topic of dragging him along as she ran, then he did better let it go.

“Just tell her what she wants to know, who knows she may let you go.” Tina suggested with a lazy expression on her face like she didn't give a damn about the matter. The speed at which this little princess switched mood and expression shocked Adrian, one minute she is curious another minute she keeps a face like she doesn't give a damn.

“So you think she will stop after that? She will just go on and ask me how to make herself look more beautiful, like in hell do I know how to or do I look like a makeup artist? Just forget it.” Adrian replied with a sigh. “Besides, my looks are natural.” Adrian spoke once more.

“Well who cares what she does to you or how much she pesters you or if you are a makeup artist, all I know is that you cannot escape the fate of being my playmate.” Tina flashed a beautiful smile towards Adrian, but to Adrian that smile was like that of a demoness who found her prey.

“Let's go.” Tina stretched out her hand to grip Adrian's wrist.

“Wait, Big brother Stains and Mark are still in school.”Adrian spoke. Stains was Tina's eldest brother and was the young lord of the Scarlet house while Mark was her immediate older brother. They were 10 and 8 years old respectively.

“Well they're already gone, they left with the uncle Austin in the a car, so stop blabbering and let's go.” Tina replied with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Austin was the name of her father’s secretary.

“Hmmm? A car?, but I didn’t see either of them when I was standing outside,But—.” Before Adrian could finish voicing out his suspicion, he found himself moving at high speed as his second round of high-speed rescue commenced, he could only sigh helplessly and resign himself to his fate.
