Their Connection ( Book 1 )

*A New Beginning* Chapter 19

It’s been a week since my birthday/mating ceremony my office isn't done yet but it is coming along great. Jackson's parents had decided that they would stay in the other packhouse along with my father. as we do our work their was a knock on the door that made Jackson and I look at the door and see Izzy come in." Luna the women in the kitchen are arguing again I need your help getting them under control." it been a little hard with some of the pack members getting along so there are times where Jackson and I have to intervene. Jackson has been trying to get the warriors to train together but some of them refuse to. I look at Jackson with a small smile and head to walk out of the office and head to the kitchen.

"What is going on here?" 

Everyone turn and looked at me with shocked looks like they didn't know what to do. so I walked completely into the kitchen with my hands on my hip. Izzy behind me along with Axle with their hands across their chest. this luna mess is exhausting I wonder if Jackson feels the same way.  

" luna I cant do this every time I go to prepare a meal she comes in and ruins everything." 

" ok well what we can do is everyone can team up and do different tasks and work from there, does that seem like a good idea?" 

" yes luna!" they all say in together.

" Izzy can you make a list of the ones that want to work in the kitchen and team them up together one person from each pack." 

" ok, luna I will get it done right away and have it to you by the end of the day." 

After that I walk out feeling so tired I send Axle to tell Jackson that I was laying down for a while. He nods and walks away towards Jackson's office, I then walk to our bedroom and climb into our bed and soon fell asleep. 

                                                                   Jackson's p.o.v 

Axle came to my office to let me know that Rain went to our room to rest a little bit, I know handling two packs is taking a toll on her but she never seems to say anything, she always has a smile on her face as if there is nothing bothering her or in her way. I love that about her but she doesn't listen when I tell her she has to talk about her problems. I was soon snapped out of my thoughts when I hear a bunch of commotion outside my office. so I walk out and see every male wolf running up the steps along with Mark, Izzy, and Axle trying to stop them. with my alpha voice, I start to speak when I start sniffing and then growl starting to run up the steps to my room. forgetting that Rain was suppose to be in heat. I try to run past them with all their growls and pushing. I then see Izzy being bushed to the floor, then Mark attacking the man who pushed her. Then I see Rain come to the steps in confusion of what is going on. 

" Rain go back to the room and lock the door!"

Then I see her fall in pain, she's screaming in agony, I feel my alpha strength running to her and as I am running I feel the men grabbing me. I know the only thing I can do is mate with her right there. but I know she wouldn't like that so to take some of the pain away I would have to mark her. I then see her father run into the house he yelled for me to do it. 

" Jackson you have to mark her now or it will only get worse."

" What do you mean it will get worse?"

" Her wolf will come out and you don't want that, with the type of wolf she is she will lash out its bad for the packs."

I then run through the pack members just to get to her, I let her know what I am doing to ease the pain and her wolf.

" Princess I'm going to mark you to ease the pain but after that, you know what to we have to do." 

" OK, please hurry it hurts." 

That is all she could say, with that, I kissed her neck right where I needed to mark her and then stuck my canines into her and then licked it to soothe her. that's when all the male wolfs backed off. that's when she fainted and I then carried her to our room and laid her down.
