Analise runs into the arms of her father in tears, and they both stand in quiet fury, casting glares at Nicole and Edward, who stand by the van they brought Analise in.
"Make sure to come to the funeral of your ex-lover Analise, dear. I would be expecting you too, Mr. Adrian." She feigned a sweet smile, and they both zoomed off.
Analise burst out into tears anew in her father's consoling arms. "I'm sorry. I was too careless and didn't realize we were being fooled. I put you in harm's way."
