I awoke from a restless sleep, a chill ran over my body as I was filled with an unnerving feeling that I was being watched. As I opened my eyes and sat up in bed, I could see the dark gaze of Alpha Anthony standing in the corner of the room where I was being held hostage... At first, he just looked like a shadow in the darkness...a trick to the eye. Suddenly I jumped as I realized I wasn’t dreaming, he was in fact standing in the corner watching me sleep.
‘Dear Goddess!’ I screamed to myself, my mind racing in horror. ‘What is he doing in here watching me sleep?! How long has he been here?!’
As if Alpha Anthony could read my thoughts, he responded to my questions as I covered my body with the blankets lying on top of me.
