The Kiss?

Celine then put the basket of fruits onto his table and said goodbye to them. She looked back at Lucas as he was smiling at her. "How annoying," disgusted Celine said, and walked away from Lucas' room. She was walking out of the hospital, but Mark immediately called her. Celine looked back and saw Mark with a smile while looking at her. Celine was frowning as Mark suddenly hugged her. Her eyes widened as he did that. "What are you doing?" she asked in confusion while stepping back at him. Mark was still looking at her and sighed. Celine's eyes were still fixed on him, waiting for his answer because she was confused. "I remember my sister to you. I'm sorry, I just missed her so much," he said, so Celine was surprised by what she heard. She was frowning while looking at him, and she could see the sadness in his eyes. Celine sighed and smiled at him. "I'm sure wherever she is, she's happy, and she wanted you to be happy too. So, please don't be sad anymore. People leave us and break us up, but they leave for a reason. I may not know the whole story, but I saw that you're sad and in pain while looking into your eyes. Let go of that feeling, the pain, and enjoy your life." Celine immediately said goodbye and had work to do at the bar later. She was walking, but she noticed that some man seemed to be following her. Celine hurried inside the house and locked the door of Aron's house. She was panting because she was in a hurry to get to the apartment. "Who's following me?" she asked as she was holding her chest — as it was pounding so fast. Celine then started to walk to her room, but she was immediately surprised and threw away her yoghurt when she saw Aron on the table. "Gosh! You startled me," she uttered, and Aron immediately looked at her. "I'm sorry I didn't say I came home," he said to her while smiling. Aron is eating now, and he immediately invites Celine to join him for his meal. They were eating together, but Celine noticed that Aron was acting strangely. He seemed so busy lately, so she wondered what he was doing. "Wait. Why are you back now? Won't our boss scold you for that?" Celine asked him, because she still didn't know that Aron was the owner of the bar she worked at. "No. I texted our boss and explained everything that happened," Aaron said, and Celine just nodded and continued eating. After the meal, Celine went to her room and slept. Her duty is later in the evening as she needs her body to rest before she goes to work. Aaron was already inside his room as he looked at the photo frame with his ex-girlfriend, who looked like Celine. He then wiped the photo frame with specks of dust on it and smiled while looking at the woman in the photo. "I missed you, love," Aaron uttered as tears slowly fell into his cheeks. He missed her so much and still couldn't move on from what had happened to her. Aaron then went to Celine's room and looked at her face. She was sound asleep as Aaron went inside. Aaron was about to touch her face when he stopped himself from doing that. "She's not her, Aaron. They're not the same. You should stop comparing her to her. They are not the same, Aaron. They're different," he scolded himself, and went out after that. It was already night, but Aron did not wake her up. He then left a note on the fridge that she could leave tonight, and Aaron would fill in her position. Aaron then went to his bar, and as usual, they had a lot of customers. Aaron and the other crew worked together as they always do. They also didn't know that Aaron was the owner. Later that night, Celine woke up and looked at the clock. Her eyes widened, and she got up from the bed as she saw the time. "I'm late," Celine uttered and went out, but Celine then saw the note Aron left. She sighed in relief as Aron ensured that he could fill in her job. Celine was sitting on the sofa in the living room as she raised her head and looked at the ceiling. She let out a deep sigh as she still stared at the top. Celine was thinking of a thing she might do tonight, and suddenly, Lucas came into her mind. Celine hurriedly dressed up and went out. She buys some fruit for him before she goes to the hospital. As Celine walked to his room, she saw Lucas was walking with his dextrose. Celine turned around, but it was too late; Lucas saw her already. "Celine?" she then turned around and smiled as she looked at him. Celine was carrying fruit, but she stopped when a woman was with him. Celine was frowning while looking at the woman. "Who is she, Lucas?" the woman asked as she pointed out Celine. "Oh, she's-" "By the way, I'm Shantel, his girlfriend," the woman said as she cut him. Celine looked at him, but he shook his head as if he wanted Celine to help him. "What? Girlfriend?" Celine asked with a scoff. "Yes, why? Do you have a problem with that?" the woman asked her. "Yes. I have." "Why?" "Because I'm his real girlfriend. So, stop pretending to be his. Go away with my man," Lucas's eyes widened while looking at her. She looked so pissed off at Shantel. He smiled while looking at her. She looks so damn cute when she's pissed off. "Take your filthy hands with him; he's already mine," she added. Shantel then took her hands from her grip on Lucas. "Is this true, Lucas? She's your girlfriend?" Shantel asked, and Lucas nodded his head. "I don't believe you. You had a lot of girlfriends that you said to the media, but none of them were true. Why would I believe you? How can you prove that you're not telling me a lie and not pretending to get me fooled?" Shantel asked while looking at Celine. Celine smirked and looked at Lucas. "I can prove that now," she then walked closer to him with a smile. Lucas was stunned, as he didn't know what Celine was planning to do with him. He looked at her directly into her eyes, but she smiled at him as she leaned in closer. Celine then closed her eyes as she leaned her lips to his. Lucas was stunned, and his eyes widened, but he just went with the flow. Celine didn't know what she was doing, but she could feel the jealousy that was building up inside her, making her go crazy if she didn't listen to what her heart said. Shantel was surprised as she was looking at them. She was scoffing while looking at them. "I can't believe what I'm looking at now," she said and walked away. As Shantel walked away, Celine then backed off from him. It wasn't a real kiss; Celine put the finger on his lips and kissed it. She didn't kiss him on the lips, but she was kissing her own hands. "Why did you do that?" Lucas asked. "What?" "The kiss?" "It wasn't a real kiss, and I wanted to get rid of that girl from my sight." To be continued...
