She smirked. "I liked you, Lucas."
Lucas looked at her with a broad smile. "Me too. I really like you a lot." Vaness's brows started to rise while looking at him. Her chest skips a beat while looking at him. She could feel those butterflies again. Vaness' world seems to stop while staring at Lucas. She could hear every beat of her chest as it started to pound so damn fast.
The rain stopped pouring suddenly. Their eyes met each other's gaze. Vaness' blinked a couple of times as her eyes adjusted. Lucas got closer to her. He cupped his hands on her face with a broad smile.
"I love you, Celine." she blinked as her eyes adjusted while staring at him.
Meanwhile, Noah was inside his clinic, still thinking about Vaness. He stood and walked restless around his clinic.
