Chapter 2)"Your Majesty!!!"

"Your Majesty!!!". Diana heard them suddenly start yelling and tearing up.
At first, she thought that they were simply crazy or mad, but this came to her as a surprise because they never stopped yelling and tearing up.
"Y... your Majesty?. Are they referring to me?". She thought because she wasn't getting any of these at all.
She got pissed off because they never stopped yelling. This only made her feel dizzy. She thought that it was maybe a movie that they were shooting, but as of this case, she could only see that perhaps they were all mad. That should really be the explanation why they were all behaving like this. She scoffed. "Maybe these dudes do take their job seriously to this extent". She thought.
Diana didn't mind at all, her main focus was on how she was going to get out of this place. She still hasn't yet gotten an explanation of what had happened to her last night. Why did she suddenly feel that sharp pain and end up falling inside the water? The most mysterious part of it all, "How is she still alive at this moment?". She will figure it out, but most importantly, she must get the heck out of this place.
Diana's eyes widened in surprise when she saw the three weirdly-dressed men who came and stood in front of her.
It seemed like the men were preventing her from leaving, making a wicked smirk appear on her face before she charged towards them.
She was a great fighter, so there was no way a bunch of movie amateurs were going to stop her.
But she got it all wrong. Before she could even lay a finger on one of them, she was already knocked out.
"Take the Queen inside, to her chamber!". An elderly man's voice ordered the guards, who went to do exactly as he said. Soon, Diana was carried to her chamber by one of the guards.

"Father! I was scared to death". A young lady cried after she went to her father, and he welcomed her into his arms for a hug. He let her sob all she wanted.
Rowan patted her back. "It's okay, my dear. She's alive, and you don't have to take her place anymore". He assured her. His voice was sweet and loving, as he assured her, with his hand still placed on her back. He was trying to make her calm down and stop crying.
After separating from the hug, Rowan sighed deeply after seeing the face of his beloved daughter. Her eyes were covered in tears. And her eyes were swollen, they were almost even unrecognizable.
Rowan didn't fail to also notice how rough and unkept her hair was. His precious Mia had been crying ever since her cousin's death. Mia was to take over in marriage for the sake of the kingdom after the demise of the Queen, her cousin.
It was quite shocking news to Mia when they announced to her the sudden awakening of the Queen. At first, she thought that it was all a lie, until she saw that for herself.
Her cousin was alive!
"It's okay, my dear. I'll make sure that your cousin never attempts suicide again. The gods were on our side this time. Your cousin is not meant to die yet, not until she fulfills and saves the kingdom from great bloodshed".
"Mm". Mia gently rubbed her head on her father's comforting chest and allowed him to pat her back once more.
"My dear. You are advised not to inform your cousin about the marriage yet. It seems like her suicide attempt really did something to her brain. You are not to speak of this to her for now, my child". He said.
Mia made her father let go of her. "Sure, father". She assured him before on her way.
After getting to her room, she immediately fell down flat on her bed. She hadn't fallen asleep for the past two days after the death of her cousin. She was deeply in great thought and pain because of the marriage ceremony that would surely come for her in her cousin's place.
Fortunately, she was in great relief after her cousin woke up from her life-threatening sleep. "Thanks to the gods". Mia muttered before she fell asleep.
Inside a large chamber,
The decorations of the room were all in black; paintings of the Queen were perfectly arranged and were hung on the walls, all over the room.
There also seemed to be black candlesticks that were lit on.
The slim, beautiful figure who was lying unconscious on the bed was being attended to by the best imperialoyal doctor.
"Ah". Diana groaned in pain after finally opening both her eyes.
She almost gave a punch right in the face of the doctor, but because she was feeling extremely weak at the moment, she couldn't do that.
Diana allowed the doctor to help her sit up on the huge bed. The first place her hand made contact with was her neck, which hurt. That was the spot where she was hit before she passed out.
"Your Majesty".
Diana didn't say anything after hearing what the elderly man called her. Her one hand was placed on her forehead as she felt her head. She was having a headache, and this was unusual for her.
"Heavens smiled upon our kingdom and decided to bring you back to us".
To be sure that the man was referring to her, Diana looked behind her. She even looked at her sides, but she saw no one else in the room beside her and the doctor.
"Could it have been that I died and was now in another world?". Diana began to reason. She wasn't a fool and had already found out that this wasn't a movie at all.
These events were real and happening before her, but she couldn't understand the reason why. She fell inside the pool. She thought that last night was going to be her last moment alive. But how come she ended up here after waking up?
"Who are you?". Hearing her voice at this moment, she noticed that her voice wasn't the same as her bold, fearless voice. The voice even took her by surprise because of how soft and sweet it was.
A thought suddenly went through her head. Spotting a large wall mirror not that far from the bed, Diana got out of bed due to curiosity. She ran and stood in front of the mirror.
"Are you alright, your Majesty?". The doctor asked her, but she didn't reply to him.
She almost even lost her balance because of her reflection in the mirror.
This wasn't the fierce face she used to have. Her smooth, tender and sharp beautiful face that showed no emotion, was now replaced by an innocent, drop gorgeous, smooth face. This type of face couldn't even hurt a fly.
Diana didn't understand what had happened to her. It was as if she lost control of her body and ended up falling on the floor, where she then laid unconscious again.
"Your Majesty!!!". The elderly doctor got really frightened to death when he saw how Diana fell on the floor.
His shout brought a lot of attention, because others made their way into the chamber where the noise came from.
They will make sure never to lose their beloved Empress to death again!
