Zain and I stayed in the hospital all day the next day. I was thankful that he was getting nutritious, balanced meals. I hadn’t been able to provide that to him for a while. I ended up spending around fourteen dollars on food because I didn’t want to continue eating Zain’s. Spending the money made me remember that I had to figure out how to get our rent paid, but I didn’t know how I was going to do that with Zain in the hospital. Plus, I had to deal with the stress of Zara and Zach being only God knows where, so I was sure the plasma center wouldn’t be an option. My blood pressure was probably sky high.
