The soldiers, upon Ganicus' command, moved to surround Alcides with their weapons drawn. Ganicus, eyeing Alcides with suspicion, repeated his question, "Who are you, and what is the meaning of this?" Alcides, unfazed by the encircling soldiers, responded with a calm yet resolute voice, "I am Maximus, a gladiator from the house of Decimus. I have taken control here, and these heads," he gestured towards the gruesome trophies, "are the proof of my loyalty to Athena."
