The Flavor of ColorsEvery morning at exactly seven o'clock, Clara walked into Leo's bakery. Clara was an artist who always had permanent paint splatters on her denim jacket and a sketchbook tucked under her arm. Leo was a quiet baker who poured his heart into flour, sugar, and yeast.Leo knew Clara's routine by heart. She always ordered a black coffee and a plain croissant. She would sit by the window, sketching the waking city while the morning light caught the edges of her dark hair. Leo, hidden behind the glass display case, always found himself wiping the same counter over and over just to watch her smile at her drawings.Leo was too shy to speak to her beyond a polite "good morning." Instead, he decided to speak through his baking. On Tuesday, he subtly changed her order. When Clara took her seat and opened her bag, she didn't find a plain croissant. Instead, Leo had made a special pastry shaped like a rose, filled with sweet raspberry jam. Clara paused, looked up at the counter, and caught Leo looking. He quickly turned away, his cheeks turning the color of the raspberry filling. Clara smiled softly and took a bite. The next day, Leo gave her a pastry glazed in vibrant blue and yellow icing, mimicking the starry sky patterns he had seen in her sketchbook. Day after day, the pastries became more creative, mirroring the colors of her art.On Friday, Clara arrived later than usual. The bakery was empty. She walked straight to the counter, but she didn't order. Instead, she slid her sketchbook across the counter to Leo.Leo opened it. Inside was a beautiful, detailed watercolor painting of him, dusted in flour and smiling warmly behind the counter. At the bottom of the page, written in elegant script, were the words: Will you share a coffee with me instead of just making it?Leo looked up, his heart racing. Clara was watching him, her eyes bright and hopeful."I would love to," Leo said, finally finding his voice. He took off his apron, poured two coffees, and walked over to the window table, ready to start a completely new story together.

Why the sun and moon live in the sky
Why the Sun and Moon Live in the Sky Many years ago, the sun and water were great friends, and they both lived on the earth together. The sun often used to visit the water, but the water never returned the visits. At last, the sun asked the water why he never visited. The water replied that the sun's house was not big enough, and that if he came with all his people, he would drive the sun out of his home. The water then said, 'If you want me to visit you, you will have to build a bigger house. But I warn you that it will have to be very large, as I have many relatives and friends and we take up a lot of room.' The sun promised to build a huge house, and soon afterwards he returned home to his wife, the moon, who greeted him with a broad smile. The sun told the moon what he had promised the water, and the next day they began building a large house to entertain the water and all his family and friends. When it was finished, the sun asked the water to come and visit him. When the water arrived, he called out to the sun and asked him whether it would be safe for all his family and friends to enter, and the sun answered, 'Yes, you may all come in.' The water began to flow in, followed by the fish and all the other water animals. Very soon, the water was knee-deep in the house, so the water asked the sun if it was still safe, and the sun again said, 'Yes, please come into my house.' So the water and all his family continued to come in. When the water was at the level of a man's head, the water said to the sun, 'Do you still want more of my people to come?' Not knowing any better, the sun and the moon both said, 'Yes, the more the merrier.' So more and more of the water's people came in, until the sun and the moon had to sit on top of the roof. When the water flowed over the top of the roof, the sun and the moon were forced to go up into the sky ... … and they have been there ever since.
