Deja POV:
I was sleeping peacefully when someone pulled cold water on my body, I jumped from the bed in shock, and when I looked up I saw Fefe standing with a stupid smile on her ugly face. Why did you pull water on me? That is how you wake up a lazy slave. My mother is waiting for you upstairs in her room, for your own good I hope you don't keep her waiting. I stand there looking at Fefe, I want to slap the evil out of her. When she left my room, I ran into my small bathroom to take a quick shower. When I was done with my shower, I wore my maid uniform and tied my curly hair in a ponytail. My right hand was not fully recovered, but I kept forcing myself to use it. Luna Linda will not allow to me sit around the pack doing nothing. Besides I have been in this pack for the past six years now. So I'm used to working for these people.
I know I will be sleeping on the cold floor tonight, all because of stupid Fefe. I left my room and ran upstairs to the Luna room. I knock and she lets me in calling me a slave. Luna you sent for me, yes I will be having a tea party today with others Luna’s. So I going to need you to bake some cookies and make the teas for me, I don't want any mistakes. Yes, Luna, and don't worry about cleaning the pack house, the omegas will clean up. And after you are done with your choices, go back to your room and don't come out till after the party. I don't want my friends to know that I have trash in my pack. You may go and start preparing. I left her but I refused to cry. Can you believe this witch of a Luna? How am I supposed to bake a cookie with one hand, knowing very well that my right hand is still in a cast? I went to the kitchen to do my best with what she wanted. I was mixing the dough when Miss Rahea and Nia walked in. What are you two doing here? We are here to help you, Miss Rehea said to me. Now little angel let me mix the dough while you put the tea on the stove. I was happy to see them, in one hour everything was ready and the kitchen was cleaned. All three of us watch while the omega sets the table and puts all the food on the table. I said my thanks to Miss Rehea and Nia before trying to leave for my basement. When I got down to my room, I tried to clean the mess Fefe had made earlier this morning. I cleaned up everything but my bed was soaking wet.
I sat on the cold floor with tears in my eyes, I mean I should be used to this nightmare by now. I got so lost in my own thoughts that I did not hear or see Miss Rehea and Nia standing over me with a blanket and comforter in their hands. Little Angel here are some old comforters and blankets for you. I don't have much to give you my little angel but I hope you know I love you like my own child. I didn't know what to say, she had loved me from the first day she met me I love you too Miss Reheah, and you too Nia. They stay with me for a while before going back upstairs to start dinner. I folded my new comforters and blankets and hid them in a place where no one could see them.
I fell asleep while waiting for Luna to call back upstairs but she never did, I got up and looked through the little window and it was already dark outside. I got up and went upstairs to the kitchen to get some food because I was super hungry. Nia was still in the kitchen, the moment she saw me! She gave me my food and told me to go back to the basement because Luna's friends were still there. I was going back to my room when my eyes caught a beautiful woman and the most handsome man I had ever seen looking at me like they just saw a ghost.
I ran back to my room and ate my food because my life depended on it. After I ate my food my mind went back to the beautiful lady and the man. they looked familiar, I closed my eyes to think about where I had seen them before, and then it all came back to me, I had seen them in my father's office.
FLASHBACK
Eight years old I just got out of school and I was running down the hall to my father's Alpha Carson office, Deja sweetheart slow down before you fall. my mother, Nora said to me, Mommy I have to see Papa. I kept running till I reached my father's office and pushed the door open. The moment I saw my Father nothing else mattered to me. I ran to him and hugged and kissed him. I tried to stop her but you know how she is when she wants to see you, my mother Nora said while standing at the door. Sweetheart, I'm having a meeting with Alpha Logan and his wife Clara, can you say hi to them? I got down from my papa's lap and went to say hi to the Alpha and his wife. They were really nice. After their meeting, we all had dinner and my father told my mother that Alpha Logan was his best friend from childhood. After they left and went to their pack, both of my parents put me to bed, then my father looked at me and said don't forget how special and powerful you are. Don't you let anyone to break you no matter what. Papa, will I get a wolf like you and Mommy? Of course sweetheart, you will get your wolf on your 17th birthday, will she be big like your wolf hunter? Your wolf will be bigger than hunter baby girls, my mother said from the door way. Now can you please let me take my husband away so he can rest baby girl? Yes, Mommy. Good night. My parents hugged and kissed me before trying to go to bed, but they always stood at the door hands in hands and looked back at me for a few before leaving. I always want to be happy.
