Fifty-Six: Miles
I gather with my team in the shadows. We have worked together for so long that we can tell what one is thinking by just their body movements. I’m trying to hold it together. I’m their leader, their commanding officer and I’m going to lose it. I can feel it coming on as my mate is so worried about our pups. They have been missing for two weeks now. Two weeks of searching for the missing Prince and my pups along with Ronin’s mate. I can feel my Bear scratching at my skin now that he can smell his cubs close by. I take a deep breath when I hear the alarm go off on my watch. Telling me it is time for us to move out.
We crouch and start running to the side of the building. Trying to stay out of the spotlights. There is only one spot on this side of the building
