"You always watch what is in front of, and to the side of you." Elijah instructed the group of teenagers. Most of them looked like they were scared to death. He turned to at Val.
Val smiled. "Remember we are just teaching you guys to defend yourselves, in case something happens. Our plan is to have you here, away from the danger. But we also want you to be prepared in case anything happens. Everyone should know some self defense."
The kids nodded, their wide eyes left, and the frowns on their faces went away. They all turned their eyes, focusing on something behind Val and Elijah. They turned around to see Matt standing there.
Val smiled. "Matt, what can we do for you?"
"I want to train with you." He replied.
Val turned to Elijah who smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
