Dance like no one is watching

That episode lasted a good few days, I’ll never understand why, when you break free, that your brain continues to torture you with the memories. Just let me live free of the triggers and anxiety. I know the owner had been checking on me, notes had been left under the door and actually meals, I must catch the owner to give my thanks. Not letting the anxiety catch me I flew out the door as soon as my laced were tied, I ran to reception and left a note saying thanks to Patrick and co for the care packages. My day was spent following my map of things to do, I plan to hike tomorrow, I write to Cleo as promised minus the bedridden attack I had and post it with a return address. For weeks, I filled my days until boredom set in. Before I could submit to another episode, I grab the local paper and go on the hunt for employment. 3 hours later, I have 4 jobs. The local café needs a barista, the post office needs a stock hand, the local hotel needs an activities lady and the bed and breakfast I’m staying at needs a cleaner. The business owners hadn’t been able to fill the roles as most people want full time, I’m excited as I will be working 4 days. I celebrate my win as I enter my villa I find Cleo has responded, Hey Mum, I'm so happy for you, I am missing you like crazy. Lucky, I'm so busy with uni. I can’t wait to come visit. Oh, and please don’t leave that villa, I am already in love with it and it’s gardens. Oh! Mum, I met a boy. Silence, she is a smart girl, she can't be manipulated, I know I’ve raised a strong woman. So why do I fear it. Her father I know I can’t think of him on this moment, but I don’t know why I can’t get his sick and twisted face out of mine. His world I can’t gather the compression. “ Your nothing. They left you, why is that, Huh! You are nothing without me, you can’t raise her, you’ll make her like you, Nothing, just give up and leave, I’ll do a better job than you’ll ever do.” I can’t help it, I scream “GO AWAY” at the same darn time as Mr Green knocks on my door. “Sorry, wasn’t meant for you. Actually, maybe it was?“ tapping my lip. Mr Green looks at me smirks and asks if I wanted to go to the pub, it’s kind of a town habit, everyone heads to the pub to check in and catch up with good friends. As he states I am yet to introduce myself to the town and unless I want to be chased out by pitchforks I best be going. Although I fear a pub, I do find it a tad bit excited going to the pub, will be a nice distraction from what my brain is doing, even if after 2 glasses of wine I get slightly drunk of that, Smartly casual attire for the night and a bit of care done to my face and over grown eyebrows, I’m off to the pub. It was like crickets had to fill the void with me awkwardly walking into a bar, why are they silent, as I attempt to look and smell myself over to ensure it want that, I pipe up and say Hey I'm Kaly, it's as if I'm in the classroom, everyone at the same time good afternoon Miss Kaly. I giggle and rub my hands together and ask what's the Friday special. All of a sudden, I hear, "well, do I have a treat for you, I look up and see a stunning quirky looking Red head, in all black and juicy red lips, "Hey I'm Frankie, local and bar tender extraordinaire, I have a niche for making wicked drinks and from what I hear you need a good one to settle you in to our lovely abode, sit the pretty butt down here, and I will be back." within minute a fruity tall glass of deliciousness was placed before me. 2 hours later, and what I would say was a killer coyote ugly rendition, I end up having a deep and meaningful with the towns' hotel owner. After a while and another dance with some cowboys, I've been flung around the dance floor laughing my guts out. A cowboy named jack is grinding up on me as we dance to smooth by Santana, when I feel a slight touch to my hips, I spin to feel two beautiful green eyes looking at me, green eyes with worry. The liquid courage I've been sculling hit me hard, all I remember saying is, well if it isn't my serial killing stalker everything goes black. Pounding and my tongue close to replica of a cat's tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth, I groan. What happened? I roll over realising I am in fact in my beautiful villa, beside me is a cold drink of water, another glass of green contents and two panadol, a note drink these and have the panadol, breakfast of champion in the café, Patrick. Who is this guy, how did I end up here, and what is that drink? I follow the instructions, the green drink is awful, but after my stomach settles I stand and hope in the shower, brush furry teeth and wash my face. Surprisingly, I felt ok after all that. Now to find the café. Thankfully, as I walk out the receptionist from day one, Beatrice shows me where the café is. I enter a small room that’s filled with the most delicious smells, pancakes, bacon, maybe muffin and cinnamon of all things. Moaning in delight, I can’t help but still out loud yum! As the door swings open, a beautiful blonde with distinctive eyes rounds the corner, smiles at me and says hey coyote sit down, we will fix you. Embarrassed as I’ll ever be, flash backs of me grinding a mop on top of the small bar, singing to Elton John, I can only feel absolutely horrified. Silent scolding myself for my introduction to the town, Josie introduces herself,“ you're going to fit right in here, don’t be embarrassed, it’s like tradition around here”. As she slides the plate and a mug of coffee in front of me, pats me on the back and walks off. After I finish I walk to the back where Josie had walked out of to put my plate back, abruptly I run in a solid form. Because I couldn’t get any more from this day, I look up and Mr Green eyes is staring at me with his hands placed on my hips. I take a deep breath in, what a mistake that was, the man smells like a woody spice, it’s such a unique smell, I would never imagine smelling that anywhere else. I lose my train of thought, images race through my brain of been bent over the island bench and my skirt slowly been slid up and Mr Green's scent is overloading me while hear his belt bucket been undone, my knees go slightly week and I realise I've been spoken to. “Huh?” “How was your breakfast? “ “Was delicious, I breathe out, was just going to put my plate up.” “ I’ll take that, Josie has gone for the day.” He takes it from me and walks to the sink, rinses it, places it in the dishwasher and turns it on. “ Where can I pay for my breakfast?” “ You get a complimentary breakfast on Saturday”. The voice of this man, it’s stirring up something within me, I can’t think of anything but how it would feel to have his full lips on mine. “ Pardon” huh? “ I didn’t say anything” Mr Green eyes smirks at me“ I thought I heard you say mine”. “Ahh no” what the f**k, I start blushing. “ Well, thank Josie for me” and I run off to my room to crawl under the covers and die of embarrassment.
