-HYP- I stood off to the side of the common room, half-listening as Erin's father rambled on about something I couldn't even begin to follow. I couldn't hear anything above the blood rushing in my ears as I watched Orion and Theia glide effortlessly across the dance floor. When she walked into the room earlier, I swear, time came to a halt. Every eye in the room turned to her, and at that moment, I wanted to claw them all out of their sockets for dare to look at her. She was breathtaking. Shining like a beacon, she moved through the crowd with an effortless grace that made people part for her as though she were a goddess. And there I was, frozen in place, mesmerized by her beauty and loathing myself for wanting another woman at my own engagement party. Yes, I was a terrible person. But
