A man in his early 50′s was sitting in the sofa reading a newspaper.

A lady was sitting beside him ,cutting fruits.

“Nyonika did he come home”, ask the man shifting the paper a bit to look her.

“Yes he came early morning 3, so I didn’t woke him up. He would come down on his own than u can meet him.“, said nyonika.

The man nodded.

“Raj I was thinking about his marriage.“, nyonika said suddenly.

“I was also thinking the same, we will ask to him indirectly if he likes any girl, if no than we can search brides for him.“, raj suggested.

Nyonika agreed.

" Good morning mom and dad”, came a sleepy voice from back.

“Gud morning manik.“, both said together.

Manik came and sat near nyonika and kept his head on her lap and slept.

“Tired?“, asks nyonika.

“Hmmm...“,he hummed with close eyes.

“Manik again how many times u have to do up downs from delhi to mumbai. If I remember well its the 3rd time in 20 days u went delhi.“, raj asked in concern.

“It was the last time dad, the project was really important for the company so I was personally handling it and also new employees are to be joined from next week and many projects are lined up so I had to finish this one soon.“, said manik looking at his father.

“Take care of yourself manik, dont overstress yourself okay.“,said nyonika caressing his hair.

“Yes mom.“, said manik kissing her palm.

“Manik, media asked u question last time and u left it unanswered like always, answer it and finish the matter.“, said raj.

“Dad if I answer than they will keep bugging me more and also they have no right to know about my personal things.“, said manik little irritated thinking about media.

“But beta is it true do u love someone?“, asked nyonika.

“No mom I dont.“, said manik plainly.

“Manik what type of girl u like.“, asks raj this time.

“What do u mean dad?“, asks manik immediately.

“I m asking generally what type of girl u like.“, said raj clearing his doubts.

“Is it necessary to answer.“, asks manik with a hope.

“Yes”, both said together.

“She should be urs choice.All my loved ones should like her. she should treat them as her own family and respect them. She should be calm, quiet, educated ,well mannered, independent girl and have her own identity. She should have the will power to go against anything if its wrong. She should respect traditional things. She should be beautiful, its ok if she is not by outside but should be from her heart. She should always be ready to help people and ya she should talk less ,If u get a girl like her then I m ready to marry at any time you say.“, said manik thinking .

“Manik if we get a girl like u said than u will marry and get settled na.“, asked nyonika again to confirm.

“I dont think such girl exist in todays world so u both stop bothering me indirectly asking questions and thinking about my marriage and mom I will surely get marry if I get a girl like her. “, said manik looking at both.

“A girl would be definitely there in this world who is made for u. U will surely find her one day and then u will have to marry”, said raj.

“We will see dad but till than dont tell me to get marry.“, said manik and picked up a piece of apple and ate it.

“Wow wow, did I miss something the manik malhotra is saying that he will get marry.“, came a voice from the door.

Manik rolled his eyes towards him and then slept on her lap.

“Arey dhruv beta come na have a sit.“, said nyonika.

“Gud morning aunty. Gud morning uncle.“, dhruv said taking a sit.

“Dhruv beta anything important u came so early in morning.“,asked raj.

“what can we do uncle, when ur lovable son dont have time for us, he is s busy that he forgot that he has friends to spend time with. So I thought, I should pay a visit. But uncle what were u talking about marriage.“, asked dhruv looking at manik.

Manik chuckled at his drama.

“Woh beta its like......“, said nyonika and explained about maniks choice of girl and his agreement for marriage if we get such a girl.

“Manik do u really think u will get a girl like this. Cmon yaar in todays world girls hardly had time for others and u want a girl who would take care of ur family and stay with them. Moreover she would be traditional. Aunty I think he knowingly said this so that he could not marry.“, said dhruv explaining his views.

“We know beta ,he is our son and I too know that a girl like her will be there.“, said nyonika with hope.

“I m going to office ,I have some meetings. Nyonika I will get late so have ur dinner ,okay”, said raj getting up from the sofa taking his coat.

“Bye dad.“, said manik.

“Have ur lunch and take care”,said nyonika.

Raj nodded and left.

“Manik now go and get freshen up I will get ur breakfast. Dont be lazy.Get up.“, said nyonika waking him up.

“Mom 2 mins more.“, pleaded manik.

“No dhruv is waiting ,go get ready. I will send the breakfast upstairs.“, said nyonika pushing him.

Manik got up and both of them went upstairs.

“Give me 5 mins. I will take a shower and come.“, said manik and went inside washroom to take shower.

After some time.

“So tell me now what brings u here and dont give me the reason u gave back then.“, asked manik gelling his hair.

“First u tell me where is ur phone. From yesterday I m trying to call u but it says switch off. From when u started switching off ur phn.“, asked dhruv angrily.

“Its over here and I think it got switched off by mistake. I m sorry.“, manik said looking at his phone.

“Manik is everything fine. I was talking to u at night and then suddenly the call got disconnected and from then ur phn is saying switched off.“, asked dhruv in worry.

“Arey nothing serious I was coming back after signing the deal and my car broke down. I thought to take a walk upto the hotel as it was nearby. So I was walking and talking to u when a girl bumped into me and my phn fell down. So it got switched off I guess. I didnot check it after that.“, said manik sitting on the couch.

“Interesting what happens next.“, asked dhruv leaning towards him.

“Actually some goons were behind her so she was running. I saved her.“, manik said reminding yesterday’s event.

“Just like movies then she would have said u thank you. U would have said her some beautiful lines, she would have blushed than u would have asked her number right.“, said dhruv thinking about the after events.

“Wrong ,I shouted on her then she shouted on me and then we part our ways.“, said manik making a angry face.

“Why did u shouted at her in the first place.“, asked dhruv confused.

“She was running away instead of fighting and standing up for herself which gives these goons more power to do these things. So I told her to fight for herself and instead for being grateful and thanking me, she shouted on me saying who am I to shout on her. She was such a ‘ill-mannered girl ’ I wish I never cross paths again with her.“, said manik.

“How was she looking?“, asked dhruv.

“I didnot see nicely as it was dark but ya she was good anyway ,but she is a big problem i m telling u.“, said manik putting his phone in charge, warning him.

“Ok buddy leave her and tell me what are u doing now?“,asked manik walking upto bed.

“Office, I have so much work for this week and dad and uncle are also busy in some projects. so I can’t get there help and also they will be tired if I give them more to handle. It would have been great if u would have joined our company but no u wanted to make ur own company.“, said dhruv thinking about his day and complaining at the end.

“Buddy u know right I wanted to be independent and about our company u are there to handle it right.“, said manik.

“But manik u too have rights in the company like me. Our parents are business partners, I cant take ur rights.“,said dhruv.

“I know but u understand one thing before partners we are friends and family and what I have is all urs so never think u are taking my rights. I decided on my own to not handle dads business and start my own. So dont feel guilty and also now mukti will be joining soon to accompany u.“,said manik holding dhruv’s shoulder making him understand .

“Ya thats true but when is mukti coming back from london.“, asked dhruv.

“After 2 days and I think alya’s too is coming back this month end.“, said manik with a big smile.

“It means after 10 days wow. Only one is left among us, If he would have been here than it would have been great.“, said dhruv excited and sad at the same time.

“He is not coming any time soon not in coming 2 months. “, said manik with a sad smile.

“Ya I talked with him. His sister has came home and u know how he is for his sister just like u and mukti. After that he is going to dubai for a month or more so there is least chance to meet him.“,explained dhruv about his schedule.

“I was thinking how about we plan a get together after 2 months. Now we all are busy with our works we will finish it and then we can go for a trip like old times.“, asked manik with a big smile in his face thinking abt the idea.

“What a idea buddy, its been so long when we enjoyed together like college days. I miss the carefree ,bindass, fearless FAB 5. We have came so far in life,we got settled, got separated from each other for our career but our band ,our family is still the same. “, said dhruv in thoughts of his college days.

“Yes we haven’t been together in persons but we are connected through our hearts, Fab 5 is unbreakable and inseparable. Nobody can come between it neither our career nor the distance.“, stated manik determined .

“You are right.“, dhruv seconded him.

Dhruv gets a call.

“Buddy I have a meeting I will see u in sometime”, said dhruv and got up.

“Okay I too need to go to office see u later.“, said manik and gets up too.

They both hug each other and dhruv left bidding bye. Manik too left for office after having his breakfast.

In the office ,manik is known as the strict boss. He wants every thing perfect and on time.

He went inside the office and giving nods to his employees ,he made his way to his cabin.

He got seated and his PA came with a black coffee. He took the cup .

He asked his schedule while sipping his coffee. After listening to it.

Manik asked her,” pooja wht about the new employees joining next week.“.

“sir we have sent them mails these mornings and asked them to come before a day to mumbai as some of them are from other place. Mr. Sharma has seen their profiles and alloted them their posts and teams. He asked me to show u these designs as he was impressed by it. Thats all for now sir.“,she said and gave him the designs and left the room after his permission .

Manik take a look of the design and was impressed by it.

He called Mr. Sharma in his cabin.

“Mr.sharma I saw the designs and it were good. I want that the person would be under me and accompany us in the next project.“, manik said him as he entered the cabin.

“Sir I knew u will like it so I kept her in ur team and I will tell her abt the project.“, mr.sharma said in agreement.

Manik nods and he leaves the cabin. Manik starts checking his presentation as he had a meeting in some time.

In Delhi..

" Bhai come soon we will get late”, shouted nandini from the living room.

“Ya ya I came lets go “, said cabir coming out of his room fixing his coat.

“Where are u both going at this time. Cabir dont u have to go office.“, asked naina coming to the living room.

“Woh mom I will go office from there only. Actually choti want to meet her frnds so I will drop her and then go for the meeting.“, said cabir making a excuse.

Nandini smiles.

“She can go on her own with the driver u go for ur meeting,u will get late for it else.“, said naina doubting his answer.

“Mom its in the way only and there is time for the meeting so I will drop her, u dont worry.“, answered cabir immediately as he knew his mom has got some doubt on him.

“Ok have fun and come early.“, said naina while patting nandini head still unsure about his going.

“Mom we are getting late. See u in some time. bye.“, said nandini hugging her.

Cabir kisses her cheek and waved bye.
