Chapter 8: I Just Want to Play Football
“I really appreciate you guys driving me down here.”
We were on our way to Brad’s second recruitment visit, this time at Bowling Green University. He’d already been to The University of Toledo. He hadn’t been completely impressed and was looking forward to this visit.
As we drove down 23 toward Ohio, the southeastern Michigan winter landscape sliding by, we discussed the various scenarios available to Brad. He had played both tight end and linebacker in high school. He had the size and the speed for those positions. If left to his choice he would play on both sides of the ball and every play. He loved his sport.
The discussion turned to Ted and his options for school.
