Alpha Annie’s POV
“Annie!! Annie!!” Gabriel squeals excitedly as I jump out of the car.
He runs towards me at full speed and I bend down, opening my arms and bracing myself for impact. Within seconds he batters into me, almost knocking me off my feet and throws his arms around my neck. I can’t help letting out a loud laugh before looking over his shoulder at all my family gathered together on the steps of the pack house.
“You were away for ages!” Gabriel exaggerates as I ruffle his hair and stand up.
“Sorry Gabe but I’m back now.” I answer softly, watching him run off back over to Grace.
It is then that I realise everyone is looking at me with a mixture of expressions on their faces.
“Annie one of these days you are going to give me a heart attack.” my mom says only half jokingly
