“WHERE are you going?”
I cursed as I heard his voice from behind. Then I felt his hand on my wrist, grabbing my arm causing me to slow down.
I immediately wiped my tears and breathe deeply as I turned to face him. As our gaze met, I noticed how his forehead twitched and how his gripped on wrist goes tighter.
“I need to get some fresh air,” I immediately replied. “A-Are you done with your meeting?” I asked but the cracked in my voice when I said the last sentence was evident. I quickly avoided his gaze as I swallowed hard. I could feel his deep stare piercing almost within my bones. I even tried to remove my hand on his but his grip is too strong. I didn’t resist and decided to give up.
“I ended it as soon as you left. But why did you leave in the first place?”
