7Aedan watched Nina intently as she read over the paper Soren had written out. All three knew that it wasn’t exactly legally binding but, he thought, it would make her feel better and after her reaction to finding out she would be shared by two men, it would be a good idea to regain some of her trust.
Nina folded up the sheet of paper and slipped it into her purse. Aedan glanced at Soren. “Shouldn’t we all have a copy?” Soren asked her. Nina shrugged, and Aedan almost laughed to see the way that she was transformed back into the woman she’d been at the café, no longer nervous.
“I’m the only one it really applies to. You both live here, and the only way it would be legally an issue is if you didn’t let me leave on Monday.”
