“They were going at it all night!”
Larissa suddenly choked on the bread she was eating when she passed by two maids at the hallway talking about something. She did not feel like eating a full meal of breakfast so she just snatched a freshly baked bread from the kitchen and decided to walk around the mansion for exercise, and her walk somehow made her overhear a conversation that piqued her interest.
Her abrupt coughing and choking sounds alerted the two maids at the corner and immediately straightened themselves, bowing their heads at the young lady of the house.
“Greetings, Lady Larissa.”
“Good morning, Lady Larissa.”
They both said in unison, nudging each other’s shoulders since they both said different things.
“Who…” Larissa began, wiping her mouth. “Who are you talking about?”
