Rue’s POV
I waited only for a few moments on the ground before sleep took over me. Naturally, I was scared of my surroundings but I seemed not to have any hold on my sleep and I got tired of waiting for help. I was madly hungry too.
I thought maybe by the time I woke up, it won't be long before I was found, or perhaps some miracle would happen.
I thought I heard his voice but I thought it was my sleep and I was dreaming about it until I heard him say I should not be awoken.
I should have talked and made him know that I was not sleeping, but I could not just do it. I knew he was furious, I could hear it in his voice. I will just pretend to continue sleeping like this.
