"Sonia, where are you off too my dear and are you okay?." i was stopped by my grandma who also stood up after i did same.
"I'm alright grandma, i'm going to go find Jake." i quickly said to her with a reassuring smile.
"Oh Alright go do your thing, i will be waiting for you here while sending off the guests because we have a lot to talk about." she then said giving me a comforting look.
I was rushing to go find Jake because knowing Cassandra, i was sure she was busy annoying him with her advances. That was the only reason i could think of him not being back yet and her absence.
I also needed Jake as the thought of me having to fight in some war with those scary beas
