I lay awake between my mates, drawing circles on Derek's chest and stomach. They were both quietly snoring but I couldn't shut down my thoughts. I was upset with Mason for running into the Dragon Kingdom. He could have gotten himself killed. I don't know this woman, but I know I hate her for the way she treated Derek. And even more now, if that's possible.
