The moment I opened the email from Sarto's HR, I closed my eyes tightly. Rojan stole my phone away from me to read the email addressed to me. Hinayaan ko siya dahil ayos lang sa akin na siya ang unang makabasa.
I sent an application last week for my OJT without Rojan's knowledge. Ngayon ko lang sinabi sa kanya nang makitang sumagot na ang HR. I purposely didn't tell him because he might do something in my favor. He was slightly mad at me for not telling him, but I was glad that he came to understand my reasons. I told him I applied to a different company on the same line. Well, that's partly true because I needed another option in case Sarto wouldn't accept me.
Nervousness crept into my veins and flowed along with my blood. I already prepared myself for a rejection, though. Alam
