Walter and I were sitting together at the gutter, but with a distance between us that's enough for two people to sit with us. The atmosphere was so quiet and cold that I almost shiver. We were sitting here for almost ten minutes in silence. He wasn't talking to me, and I couldn't bring myself to speak first. I was happy and contented that he didn't walk out and turn his back on me.
My phone vibrated after a while because of the message I just received from Rojan.

I'm home. My cousins are here already. Just gonna take a quick shower and then, we're off to The Island.
I bit my lower lip and decided to type in my reply quickly.
