I couldn’t sleep and as I lay awake staring up at the ceiling, I thought about Naida’s behavior lately. I didn’t understand it and as much as I wanted to ask her about it, I couldn’t. When Naida suddenly started to thrash around in her sleep, I sat up and looked over at her. I watched her for a moment and when it looked as if all was calm, I laid back down and closed my eyes. I shifted around, trying to get comfortable but I soon realized that I wasn’t going to get much sleep. My mind wouldn’t shut down and I kept thinking about the last couple of days. I sat up once again and as I glanced over at Naida, I noticed that her eyes were wide open.
