My legs started to wobble in weakness. I cannot help but to hold on him for support.
I closed my eyes and was about to faint.
"Ah!" I moaned in pain when he pull out his shaft on me.
What... is this?
My all over body started to numb because of the idea mixing up in my head.
My heart is throbbing so hard. I gradually looked at him and then...
I saw a guy grinning with his fangs, cover in red.
"Do you remember now?"
"What... the hell are you—"
I didn't have the chance to finish my sentence because the darkness covered my eyes as I faint in front of the most impossible scene I've saw for myself.
A vampire...
I took my life to rest, not to be in a weird victorian-era timeline! This is very confusing for me, and I don't even know who I am right now!
"Princess Genevierre—"
"I am not a princess!" I hissed on the maids who is wears the same dress all the time.
They lower their head and took a step back. I sighed to letbmy frustration out and shift my gaze into the soft cusion of bed.
Where am I? Who am I? What kind of fvcker is that Lazarus—and seriously, is he even normal?
I really wanted to go back. But how can I escape? Everyone has their eyes on me! If not, this place is too big to just escape!
This... is really terrible and annoying.
Should I do an escape plan?
"Princess—"
"I said, I am not your princess!" I glared on the poor lady.
"Princess, you need to it..." Another woman said.
"No. I am not going to eat! Just... Let me go!" I told them. "I want to get out—"
"You are not getting out, Genevierre." A strong voice opposed.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance and looked at Lazarus who just entered on my room.
"Leave us," he commanded to the ladies.
"Yes, prince." They immediately oblige.
I sneered on him. Is he really a prince here? But there is a party, a castle, an old habits and norms are showing—but how can all of this be true?
"Stop being foolish, princess Genevierre and eat," he said with full of authority. "Eat your meal."
"Are you crazy?" I asked him.
His forehead knotted. "What did you say?"
"Are you out of your mind?" I guess the word crazy is still unknown here. So I should be clear to insult him.
This man is really getting on my nerves all the time he shows his arrogant- glorious face!
"When did you learn to speak against me?" He asked me with full of amusement and sarcasm.
I sighed. I lazily pull myself up to stand and face the arrogant guy.
"What are you?"
My hands went up to my neck and check if there is a hole or something—just like in the movies, but there are none.
I mean, I saw his fangs earlier! In my blood! But I don't have any scars or wounds! Maybe someone is pranking me again!
The bite felt real! But how is that possible if there is no wound?!
"I just showed you that earlier," he shook his head then.
I laughed in disbelief. "Are you telling me that you are a vampire?"
His face started to knot in annoyance.
"Why are you asking that? Did you really hit your head hard on a rock, Genevierre?" He hissed on me.
My mouth hang in disbelief. "Really? I am a princess, and you are a vampire prince?"
His eyebrow met and glared on me.
"Should I replace you as the princess?"
Oh my gosh. Then this is really real? I mean, what the hell?
How is that possible? Vampires and princess are just a myth! I hope that Farrah is just pranking me because this is... making my head dizzy.
Before he can scold at me again—I faint in front of him, for the second time.
I woke up in the usual bed and it was morning already!
"Princess!" The ladies howled in chorus.
I looked on the glamorous ceiling. Dang, I am still here, huh?
"Please, Princess! Eat your meal, please!"
"I'd rather die than to eat..." I mumbled. "Why can't I just die... I want to wake up from this nightmare..."
Even with a little voice, the ladies heard what I've said and started to cry harder. They are telling me to eat, that they are sorry, asking me what I want—but I didn't bulge and just closed my eyes.
Okay, Gennie. Let's sleep again. If there is a miracle, we may manage to come back! Away from this horror!
"Princess please... W-What do you want to eat? The prince told us that if you won't eat, he will take our life... Please..."
That made me wake up and sit on my bed. They are now pushing themselves and looks like they were not suppose to tell me that.
"He tell that?" I asked them again.
They nod their head slowly. Dang. I want to try if Lazarus is really going to kill them, but I don't like the idea of risking someone's life just for... an evidence for myself.
"Put the table here," I announced.
The ladies started to move in delight, while I stay quiet while eating.
"You should get ready for your day, princess..." The lady said.
My brow raised. "For what?"
They just smiled on me and tell to go on the bathroom. I really cannot believe this place—even the bathroom looks like an expensive jacuzzi in Japan.
Ah. The warm water is wonderful. The petals were great too!
I am wearing a white thin dress down to my knees when a lady handed me another cloth.
They wanted to put the dress on me, but I refuse for any assistance.
I get out from the bathroom.
"What is this?" They handed me another piece of cloth, this time there is a color—red.
"Another one, for your dress Princess." They smiled on me. "Are you having a hard time, Princess? We will still put a corset..."
My mouth fell on the floor because of the gown. It was literally dress after dress! A top after top! The corset is making me more lifeless!
I just let my hair flew at my back—but the ladies is insisting to make it more exquisite!
I grab a white pearl to put on my hair.
"Here! Here! All done, all right!?"
They just winced as an answer, but didn't bother to tell me to fix it.
I am wearing a red ball gown out of the nowhere. I have choker and pearl necklace on me.
This is suffocating.
"Princess..." The lady smiled on me. "You should..."
She tap my back to get the posture right. I pouted and looked at the lady who did that.
"This corset is suffocating. Where are we going so I can take this off?" I asked them before I pull the door to get out.
I assume we are going to a party again or something. I just want to check if there is a lot of people casted by Farrah—or this is just real?
This is... really... convincing me little by little.
"Where are we going?" I asked them again—I catch them trying to communicate through facial expressions... "Are we going to somewhere far?" I asked them.
They all looked confused and hesitant. But... if we are really going to something far, then it's good! I can observe the place to know if this is really a fvcking quack or not!
I smiled on my thought.
"So where are we going?" I cannot help but to be happy.
"I'm sorry princess but... That is your daily dress..."
My forehead knotted.
"Sorry?"
"That is what you are wearing on a daily basis, our princess."
My mouth fell in horror.
This cloth... Is just for a daily basis?!
I looked at my layers of outfit. Is she even serious? How come that all of these are... just a dress for the day?
"Then, what am I going to do wearing these?" I asked the lady.
They bow their heads. "We are truly sorry for this, princess. But you need to do your duties as a princess already. People are looking for you... Even the king is asking already because it's been weeks since you left your post.."
My eyebrow raise. A princess duties?
I don't have a clue how to be a princess, but one thing is for sure--it's not for me!
"Princess," the King called me.
We are both sitting on a stage, but my chair is lower than the King and Queen's sit. The sit beside him is empty, and so do I.
The reason why I am here is because of Lazarus who is absent. They told me that I should represent the prince!
So this is a princess' duty?
I pull another paper to read a plea from people of the Kingdom. When I seat here, it really hits hard that all of these things are real.
"Princess?"
"Yes?" I asked back to the King. He frowned in reply and called a man. The King whispered something.
The king is weird. Why call me if he had nothing to say?
"What do you think of our people, Princess Genevierre?" The King interrupt me again.
I pouted and looked at the paper. I read that one of a villagers had hemorrhoid and asking a magic to heal it. Another one is cussing the Kingdom Amadeo for too much task... And another one is begging to marry Lazarus.
"Weird," I answered.
The King looked at the others, he looked confuse at my words.
I stand up. "I don't like reading these... It's making my head dizzy. And it's annoying."
The King frowned on me--and the ladies entered the scene again!
"We apologize, King! The princess is not on herself right now because of the accident--"
"Get her out here," he commanded.
Before the ladies pull me, I smiled to the king and grip my gown. "At last! This is so boring!"
"Princess!" The ladies hurried on me. "You should never do that in your gown!"
The lady just shook her head and tap my hands that is gripping my bottom dress. I pouted and looked at her.
"This is making me hard to walk!"
"Just... Just walk princess. Okay?" She smiled on me.
I nod my head on her. "Okay. I can do that."
She smiled on me. But before she speak another words, I started to run away from them.
They howled in disbelief, and swear, their faces are funny.
I am busy finding a door, while ten ladies are after me. I just need to do the outside life. I need a sun in my skin. I need to observe the place!
"Princess! Stop running, please!" The lady cried.
When I saw a big door--I immediately run over there.
"What are you doing?"
I reach the entrance, but Lazarus greeted me.
"I am going for a walk."
"Princess!" Someone grab my arm. "A princess never run like that!"
"Let me go. I want to walk outside."
"You cannot go outside," Lazarus interrupt. "Did you forget what happened, Genevierre?"
"We are sorry, Prince Lazarus!" The ladies apologize. "We didn't expect... her speed and agility..."
"Bring her back inside and teach her the basics to be a princess," he snorted. "I will report to the king her progress and if she will stay like that, I need to throw her out of the palace."
What Lazarus said make my heart thump in glory. Throw me out of the palace?
"We beg for your forgiveness, your highness! We will tell her what she needs to relearn, but we are begging you, don't throw our princess away!"
I wanted Lazarus to throw me away.
I smirked on that thought. I think I have an idea now how to get out of this horrible place.
