Uncanny Encounter

Chapter 3

The three men are eating their breakfast right now and Sunoo has no idea what to do. Should he seat with them or should he just remain standing behind them like some waiter watching their clients eat their meals?

"Took you long enough to wake up, been knocking on your door for almost 30 minutes" Jay said without sparing Sunoo a glance.

"You shouldn't talk while eating, it's f*****g disgusting" said the brown-haired guy.

"Sunghoon, you're doing the exact same thing" Jay replied, rolling his eyes while munching on his food.

"YOU'RE REPEATING THAT AGAIN?!" this time, Sunghoon shouted.

"Guys y'all are way too loud.'' the black-haired man finally talked, and with that, the two loud men have calmed down.

"The hell are you just standing there for? Take a sit." Jay said, pointing out the seat in front of Jake for him to sit down.

"Aren't we a little bit far from you?" Sunoo asked, settling himself in front of the man who has been quiet since earlier.

"Well, Jake doesn't like us" Jay jokingly replied to him with a crying tone.

"Are you supposed to be funny?" Jake sassed, standing up from his seat.

"Wait where are you going? Finish your meal first!" Jay called for him but Jake just replied with "Im done",

throwing Sunoo a quick glance before deciding to finally get out of the room.

Sunoo didn't miss the glance he was thrown with. He felt weird with the way he was treated by that Jake guy but as long as he is not irritating him like this Jongseong guy, then he's fine with it.

"Now that Jake's gone, you can sit beside Sunghoon." Just as Jongseong told Sunoo, he shifted place so he won't be too far from them. Sunghoon neither gave him a glance nor a single mutter of word but Sunoo couldn't care less.

"What is it that we needed to talk about?" Sunoo asked, slouching on the seat while rubbing his eyes. "I'm still so sleepy."

"None at all, I just said that so you would wake up immediately" Jomgseong replied to him while taking the last bite og his meal.

"YOU DARE DISRUPT MY SLEEP?" Sunoo shouted but he was quickly hitted with embarrassment when Sunghon threw him a look.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you." Sunoo felt the sudden need to apologize as he was taken aback by the glare that Sunghoon gave him. Sunoo was not the type to feel embarrassed so easily and in fact, he's the complete opposite of that but with this guy beside him, he can't be like that.

"I'm done." Sunghoon said and stood up from his seat. Sunoo was relieved. For him, this is what inner peace means. There was just something about that guy that makes him really conscious about his behavior and his words, resulting in a complete feeling of discomfort whenever he's around him even for the first time that they met. But now that he's gone, he can finally talk freely and be his true self.

Jongseong waited for Sunghoon to completely disappear from their sight before speaking up. "Have some breakfast while we're talking" Jongseong insisted. Without any hesitation, Sunoo started eating, carefully indulging the sumptuous meal before him.

"Seonwoo, from now on you're Seonwoo."
