Jacob was still fighting the monster. He mind linked us to pass the field. Everyone start moving while Jacob distracted the monster. I stayed rooted in my place, looking at the fight between Jacob and the monster.
Once everyone were secured at the other end of the field I breathed in relief. I wasn't going to leave Jacob alone, but it seemed like Jacob was taking care of the situation. With a final blow the monster fell to the floor. Jacob approached it and snapped its neck.
The men that appeared from the trees were looking with horror at Jacob. He defeated the monster alone. I wanted to jump in his arms and hug him, but I restrained myself. It wasn't the time. I shifted into my human form and put my clothes on.
Jacob turned and looked at me. He was angry. H
