I sighed, walking back and forth, back and forth. Pacing, I was f*****g pacing…I never paced. The fact that seeing Grayson was making me this nervous spoke volume that I wasn’t sure I was okay with. He got my number somehow at some point today and texted me, probably from Zain or Jaiden, wanting to see me after school. Why the f**k not, I didn’t make it out of this bunker in time anyway so I was stuck here another day. Even still, I was nervous. The more I thought about it, the more I realized why Grayson was growing on me. He was a lot like Miri was. He had Miri’s bravery, her cocky nature…before she became weak and ruined herself.
