Chapter 8 Over the next couple of weeks, life settled into a comfortable routine. As autumn progressed, the temperatures—particularly in the evenings—fell. This meant more fires in the hearth, which Barry had no objections to whatsoever. Snuggling on the sofa with his cowboys was rapidly becoming one of his favorite things.
