“You let her get away!” I yelled into the phone.
“Bro, I just took a foot to the side of my head for you. I suggest you chill the f**k out!” Stephen angrily retorted followed by a groan.
“What happened?” I asked in a demanding tone.
“I was dragging Audrey to my car when I was suddenly struck on the side of my head. I didn’t see who it was, but the mother fucker was strong enough to knock me unconscious with one kick! I have no clue how far ahead she has gotten or if she is alone, but I’m back on the road,” he grumbled in frustration.
“Damn! I swear, if she has another guy with her, I’m going to beat the life out of that b***h! Let me know when you find her again!” I snarled into the phone before abruptly disconnecting the call.
