Two hearts, One soul

A few days after what had happened, the dragon queen had let them all stay at her castle until the princess was strong enough to go back. All her guardians had gone back other than Frank, Phillips, and her summons Charles. Frank didn't want to leave his princess after what he felt from her. She told him she was fine that it was okay for him to go back but he told her no. Even her 1st mate didn't even leave.

Stubborn men, for sure.

Kevin, the prince, he didn't like it to much but when the princess told him Riley was her mate too, he sorta calmed down some. Either mates was fawned of each other but for the princess sakes, they're trying to get along for the most part.

One day when the princess was almost 100%, she had asked both her mates into her room. Frank didn't like it, but he allowed it and left the room.

"Frank, don't be doing your thing either. I want privacy."

"Yes, princess. I'll give you guys that but if you want them out all you have to do is call me."

"Frank, I will do that but please let them in and leave." She had told her trustworthy guardian.

He nodded and opened her door and let in both her mates and walked out. He didn't like it but done it for her.

Once both mates were in the room, Riley went straight to her and sat next to her as for Kevin, he stood by the door.

"I wanted to talk to y'all about us." The princess started off. "We all know we're all mates. I feel the bond and its bearable. Its like I've never felt before."

"Wait, you can now feel us as your mates?" Kevin asked.

"Your not even 16 yet." Riley said.

"No, but I think when I went under for a few hours, something happened to me. Maybe the thought of both of y'all my mates was to much at first for me but now I'm accepting y'all."

"So how is this gonna work?" Kevin asked. "How is that both me and the elf your mate. Elves are our enemy, we can't even stand them half the time."

"Right back cha." Riley said.

"Well we're gonna have to work through it." Anastasia said. "This just gonna have to be two hearts and one soul type of thing."

"But do we have to share you?" Kevin said.

"Well yes, either one on one or all of us together."

"For a young teenager, your really gonna be into the whole 3sum thing?" Riley asked.

"Well, if I have to then sure." Ana said, looking down at her hands.

"God, I've always wanted that but never really expected to get it nor do it with another man." Kevin brought up.

Both Riley and Ana looked at him, like are you serious type of way.

"Seriously? But your the prince, ain't you supposed to be a one woman type of man?" Riley asked.

"Well yes, once they find their mate but we men have urges, don't you. Did you even think of having that?" Kevin asked Riley.

"Not really. Elves don't really, mate unless they have to. And if we do, its with our one true love." Riley said grabbing one of Ana's hands. "But for my princess, I'll try and do anything."

Anastasia smiled at Riley then looked at Kevin. Before she could say anything, Kevin came close and bent down in front of his mate and looked her in her eyes. He was trying to see where this was going, to see if she allowed it or was just talking crap. But she didn't say one word. She grabbed each of their hands and smiled.

She had pictured this her whole life having a mate and now she has two of them for now. How was this whole sharing gonna work. She didn't know how to do the deed just yet and nor did she want to hurt her mates on not knowing what to do.

"Princess what are you thinking?" Kevin asked her. He could see in her eyes that her mind was going million miles an hour.

"How this is gonna work and how I'm gonna seal the deed." Ana admitted.

"Your a virgin, am I correct?" Kevin asked.

"Y-yes." She answered then looked over at Riley. "Are y'all not?" She asked them.

"I'm not." Kevin asked.

"I sorta am. I've only gotten a quick head, from a girl." Riley said.

"Look, myself, will take it slow until your ready." Kevin said then looked at Riley. "I'll go as slow as y'all need to."

Ana nodded then leaned forward and kissed Kevin. Shocking him in the first place.

When she did, Kevin wanted to explore her in every way but stopped himself. Yes he had kissed her back. But he put in at a speed that she wouldn't be scared of.

As Kevin was kissing her, he loved how she tasted. Loved how she let him take the lead in the kissing. When they ran out of breath for a moment, Ana turned to look at Riley. She smiled at him before leaning over to kiss him. Riley smiled into their kiss, even though it wasn't the first time them making out. After awhile, she broke it off then leaned back to look at them.

"I want to do it, but I want to do it on my own terms. I'm not ready just yet but this is a start." Anastasia told them. Both mates nodded at her. "And Kevin, I'm sorry but I can't rule here as your queen. Your gonna have to come back to my kingdom with me and Riley."

"Yes, my princess. I'll talk to my mother, the queen about all of this. See if she can hold off for awhile until we get a whelp in you." Kevin had said, making Ana scared for a moment.

Was she ready for any of this for sure. If not now, she will soon.

While the prince, princess, and the elf were talking, Phillips and Charles had went to the queen to talk. Frank was walking down the hall and started to over hear the dragons talk. He walked in not meaning to interrupt their conversation.

"Sorry my queen." Frank bowed.

"Its fine, you should hear this to, since your a guardian." The queen said waving him over.

Frank walked over to his fellow guardian.

"How you feeling?" Phillips asked.

"I feel better after what had happened. I just still worry about her." Frank said.

"You should be, she's your princess. Your guardian to protect. My thing is, how she has two mates and is that all she's getting?"

"What do you mean mother?" Phillips asked.

"I've heard stories of someone royal getting more than one mate." His mother said. "Matter of fact, I believe it was one of us that gotten more than one mate. But it was just dragons I think." The queen said closing her eyes trying to think.

Then she got up and walked over to the left side of the room and looked at the craving that were on the walls. She put her hand on the wall, trying to fill the knot that opens up the secret passage way. When she found it, she pushed it and the wall moved some, giving her enough room to go through. Her son and the others followed behind until they were in a large room with loads of book shelves; some of books, some of scrolls, and some of drawing and paintings from the past and future.

The queen never really went in there a lot. Only went in for information, which was rare til now.

As she was looking for what she was looking for, the others were looking around as well. Seeing all of this new to them. Phillips, knew his mother went into a secret room to hide from him and his brother when they were kids. Leaving them to the nanny or their father when he was alive. Or even when their older sister was living with them, she would always distract the boys for their mother. But when she found her mate in another dragon kingdom, a prince at that, she had left them to become that kingdoms princess.

When their sister left then years later on their father had died from an attack, their mother would hide in there, to keep to herself.

When the queen found what she was looking for, she grabbed it and turned around to show the others.

"I found this scroll years ago, when I found this place. This was my mothers hiding spot, away from everyone when she wanted to be alone. She only shown a few people, me and a few others. But when I came across this," she said rolling it out and placing candles holders on the corners. "About 600 centuries ago, a princess from our kingdom had found her mate here in the 'Fireward Kingdom'. That was her first mate, then a few years later, both her and her mate had went to another dragon kingdom, 'Windward Kingdom' to help them out, she had found her 2nd mate. He was the head warrior of your kingdom. Both her mates fought over her, tried to destroy each other, but when she got in the middle of their fight, they both ended up hurting her. When they saw that, they stopped what they were doing and agreed for her sakes that they would try for her. That warrior, moved with them to their kingdom."

"About 10 years later, they went to another kingdom. It was 'Waterward Kingdom'. They were having some huge trouble with some nasty creatures that the princess never heard of nor seen. But with both her fire and wind mates helping her help them to kill off the evil when she had gotten hurt badly that a 3rd mate fly down to save her from falling. When the other two mates saw what had happened, they ended that fight fast to get to their mate. When they saw that another man was looking at their princess like they look at her, they just knew he was just like them. That water dragon was advisor, research person for their tribe. He moved back with them helping them more than they thought."

"Then about a few years after that, a dragon from 'Earthward Kingdom' came to speak to the princess, well queen after she got her 3rd mate, about a problem that he been having, but before that man had said a word, he felt it all hit him at once that she was his mate. With the 3 other mates standing behind her, they growled but knew they couldn't stop it. The queen walked over to the warrior and smiled at him. And explained that her and her mates will help her. He was shocked when she had said mates, that made him feel like crap that he didn't get to her first. The same way the others had felt but she had told him, all 5 of them will work it out."

"After everything they went through, all the battles and missions, they ended up sealing a deal to become one and having to seal that deal was to mate with each other. That queen becoming pregnant with the most powerful dragon that anyone has ever seen or heard of. That dragon controlled each of the powers that its mothers' mates had. He didn't end up having one father, he had 4."

"Wait, I'm done from that long line of dragon's." Charles said.

"Yes, I knew that from the beginning when I saw you could do all those elements plus more. That is why, I hand picked you as the fairy-witch princess's summons." The queen told him.

"So, do we even know who my parents are? Where I belong to?"

"No, you parents died after having you and I wasn't queen yet. All I know they hid from everyone because of what they were. But once I became the queen, I had the best work on you and now look at you. Your like a son to me, that is for the greater good." She told him. "I can have someone find more about your parents if you want me to." She asked.

"Please."

"So, Anastasia could have more than one mate?" Phillips asked.

"Yes," his mother said.

"If she has as many mates as that queen did, we're in big trouble." Frank said. "Especially if they are different species. Because now she has an elf and a dragon."

"A dragon prince at that." Phillips said about his brother.

"And I'm gonna have to let him go to her kingdom." The queen said.

When the queen said that, she felt sad that she lost all of her family. But she still has her kingdom to worry about.

Later that night, the prince came to his mother with his mates and explain everything to her. On behalf of the prince, he wasn't expecting his mother to be okay with it all. She gave them her blessing about the prince leaving the kingdom to join his mates. And agreed upon their first whelp son to come back to the dragon kingdom and rule it. The princess wasn't to happy about it but she gave the queen her word to be able to take her mate back home with her.

Even though her and her mate talked about sending their whelp back to rule. Just making it a thing was hard on her.

"When our whelp of a son turns 13 I'll," Anastasia started off then looked at Kevin and grabbed his hand. "We'll send him to you. But don't forget, we live different than you. For him to be 13 years old, he'll be 130 years old. Will that be okay with you dragons."

"Yes, unless something happens to me before hand, he'll have to come earlier than that." The queen had said. "But before its his time, please don't be scared to send him my way to visit his grandmother."

"Mom, we won't. You'll be in his life before he becomes king. Even if I have fly him by his ear, over here." Kevin chuckled.

They all chuckled and talked a little more. The queen didn't bring up what she had found from the former queen and told the others to keep it to their selves.

Later on that week, the prince had packed up some stuff to bring with him and loaded it into his car and plus the princess's car as well. Frank and Riley teleport back to the fairy kingdom and got everything all straighten out for the prince. They got his room up and going, it was next to Riley's.

What both mates thought how two hearts and one soul was gonna work out though. But only time will tell. In the end, it was gonna be two worlds, one family. They have to trust their hearts.

Hope y'all like this chapter so far. It took me a few days to write it because I didn't know how I was gonna do this. Never really had the thought of having one person have more than one mate.

I mean my one book, I made a chosen mate and a fated mate. But this gonna be way different. So bare with me and hope y'all enjoy it as much as I'm going to.
