Although Valerio and Lilith arrived outside of Axel's house together, Lilith told him that she should go in alone. When Valerio was about to fight her on it, she quickly explained.
"The likelihood of him confessing anything with you there is very low. He has been maintaining a pretty friendly relationship with me up until now so he might be more comfortable with me alone."
'He also knows a secret about me which he can use against me if things go wrong,' she silently added.
The fact that Axel knew her true identity meant that there would be a high chance he would confess everything to her since if she exposed him, he could easily expose her as well.
"Fine," Valerio sighed, leaning back in his seat with a frustrated look on his face. "If you're not back in an hour, I'll come for you."
