I got a call from the head maid telling me to take the rest of the week off. I was hesitant at first, but I agreed when she said that I’d be paid despite not working for the rest of the week.
The next day, the young master picked me up from home, and we drove to school together. He came early, and we drove through a McDonald’s to order some breakfast. We ate our muffins and fries in the car, and the young master kept looking at me.
Sarah: “Uhm, what are you looking at?”
Zac: “I’m just making sure you’re eating.”
Sarah: “I am. Thanks for the egg muffin.”
