I was working on my study and Anya was sleeping on the couch comfortably. I refused to let her in our room alone. I was scared of her. I didn’t want to let her alone for a single second. When I was confirmed that she was in deep slumber, I took out the pen drive from my drawer, and suddenly another pen drive attracted me. I remembered that Mrs. Mayor gave this telling me that Gloria Roberts gave her when she left the city. I looked at Anya again.
I connected the first pen drive to my computer and copied all the contents of it into my personal laptop. Then I removed it and connected the second pen drive and did the same. I put both pen-drives into my safe. I didn’t want Anya to look at their contents before I studied them.
